And they spoiled the Egyptians. The children of Israel lived in Egypt for four hundred and thirty years. The major years aside from the time of Joseph the son of Jacob the prime minister, Israel did suffer at the hands of task masters assigned by the pharaoh that did not know Joseph nor had any regard for the children of God.
