DATE 21st February, 2023 TOPIC The Race LIVING SCRIPTURE Ecclesiastes 9:11 KJV I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. The practical aim of every race is to bring out a fulfilled goal or an achievable trophy. When a child of God engage in any race or competition physically, it becomes paramount to come out as first and best but such will need quality training and help from the LORD. For a believer who has a winner's mind set, in order to win the physical race or competition, needs the undeserved favor of God that uplifts a man. The case study this morning brings our focus to Daniel and his friends, (Shadrach, Mishael and Abednego) who were brought to the king's palace in Babylon, where the king desired to have the best counsellors standing at his side. It was a ra...

DATE 6th February, 2023 TOPIC The Light of the World LIVING SCRIPTURE John 8:12 KJV Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. In the beginning God made the Heaven and the earth and also the great lights and stars. Amongst which we have the Sun and the Moon to give light to mankind. But these lights and stars are not sufficient to lighten the world nor expel darkness and sin. They lack the capacity to save mankind from the wiles of the devil. In the days Noah, mankind dived into deep immoralities that the Sun could not swipe their sins and many lives died in disobedience and sin. The Sun and the Moon are for the seasons and times here on earth in favor to man. Part of the limitation of both lights is thag they cannot shine at once over the earth. The good news this morning reads boldly from the anchor scripture, ...I am the light of the world: he that followeth me ...

DATE 4th February, 2023 TOPIC Let Wisdom Speak LIVING SCRIPTURE Ecclesiastes 7:11-12 AMP Wisdom along with an inheritance is good And an [excellent] advantage for those who see the sun.  [12] For wisdom is a protection even as money is a protection, But the [excellent] advantage of knowledge is that wisdom shields and preserves the lives of its possessors. The way of wisdom is the way of the LORD and only the wise shall find it and dwell in it. Wisdom is the principal thing and it is primarily an important virtue needed by man for a peaceful and healthy living. When wisdom speaks it cancels strife and ejects foolishness and misbehaviors. King David was a man of angelic wisdom and he was protected by it and this Spirit called wisdom became a seed of inheritance passed down to Solomon who also craved for the taste of God's given wisdom to rule with knowledge and understanding. He found out that wisdom supercedes the most crafty or cunning. With wisdom as a voice no sound ...

DATE 2nd February, 2023 TOPIC My Defence LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 7:10 KJV My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. Psalm 73:25 KJV Whom have I in heaven but thee ? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. The prayer of King David, acknowledging the LORD as his only defence both in heaven and on earth. King David went through so many battles in his life time, he fought animals like lion and bear; he fought Goliath of gath and destroyed him; he fought kings and kingdoms, thieves and bandits. But in all these, he knew his source of protection, it was not his wisdom or wits, not his mighty men or weapons, his defence remains the LORD Most High. King David saw God's covering and protection in different ways, as a Rock, a Refuge, a Shield, a Tower, a Strong Tower, a High Tower, as a Wing, as a Feather, each meant to him more in the way and manner God stepped into his case. His trust was in the God of his salvation and he was never disappointed. S...

DATE 31st January, 2023 TOPIC The throne of Grace LIVING SCRIPTURE Hebrews 4:16 KJV Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Man since the fall of Adam and Eve have been unqualified in many ways towards things and presence of God. Sinners are often segregated and judged by saints that should be a light to them for total repentance. We see the anchor scripture welcoming God's children to the channel and direction of Grace that is made possible to all mankind through our Lord Jesus Christ. That both sinners and saints should come boldly not fearfully or doubtful but full of courage (knowing & acknowledging the sacrifice and power of Christ). In other to obtain mercy and His grace in whatsoever we desired of Him in our lives. A perfect example of the right approach to the throne of Grace is seen in the scripture below and lessons to learn from the Publican: Luke 18:9-14 KJV And he spake thi...

DATE 30th January, 2023 TOPIC Giving LIVING SCRIPTURE Acts 10:2 KJV A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. Cornelius was a dedicated man to the ways of giving and blessing the people around him because he loved God. This simple act of love and kindness is the way Christ Jesus wants us to adopt, that we should be dedicated givers. The first giver that is still dedicated to the giving commission and will still give is our Heavenly Father. For He loved us so much that He created a planet for us to rule and dwell and when sin separated us from Him, He gave His most priced possession - Jesus Christ the Son of the living God to die for the world. He gives and gives... Dedication to the call of expressing love and kindness to our neighbors is the way of the Lord. A true believer is a giver and should follow the way of love - Agape (the giving love). Giving is spiritual, it takes one who's heart loo...

DATE 27th January, 2023 TOPIC God's Security LIVING SCRIPTURE Exodus 13:21 KJV And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: Security has been of prime importance to man after the fall of man from glory. The need for spiritual and physical security became a priority due to the rapid increase in crime and violence caused by man's sinful nature and the devil's influence on vulnerable souls. Some people go as far as fortifying themselves with charms and native concussion while other trust in gadgets and technology and the government to protect their lives and properties. And it was not so in the beginning when God created Adam and Eve. The Lord placed man in a garden (a peaceful serene environment) there was absolutely no reason to be afraid or the thought of thieves because the Lord was their security officer. Man fell and the hearts and intents of ma...

DATE 26th January, 2023 TOPIC The Power of Salvation LIVING SCRIPTURE Romans 10:13 KJV For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. The authority inside salvation is very great that even the worst, rejects, hopeless and forgotten ones can be reconciled back to our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. Salvation comes to everyone irrespective of tribe or nation, it came to give light, not any kind of light but the Light that drives away darkness completely. Our Lord Jesus Christ went about as He is still doing today, seeking to save as many that will believe in Him by calling out His name. Christ Jesus has never rejected a sinner that needs His help. Right on the cross performed a miracle of salvation to a terrible lost soul who was beyond hopeless and damned. (Study Luke 23:33-43) There is power in salvation for the whole world. We can never exhaust the power of Christ Jesus to save lost souls no matter our numbers here on earth reaching billions of pe...

DATE 25th January, 2023 TOPIC The Glorious God LIVING SCRIPTURE Isaiah 46:9-10 KJV Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,  [10] Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Our God is the champion of the World. When we say Glorious God, it's like a victorious wrestler walking down with cheers and awe. The description and magnitude of God cannot be fully discovered or explained. He alone is in His category with excellence and glory and power. God showed up and he's still in the business of showing up to attend to His children. Israel never experienced a better yesterday for the LORD was with them as the only God makes other gods to bow. From the anchor scripture we'll discover the distinctive qualities of God and that in Heaven, on earth and underneath none can equate nor phantom. The best desc...

DATE 24th January, 2023 TOPIC No Worries LIVING SCRIPTURE 1 Peter 5:7 KJV Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. A worry can be a bug that disturbs the balance of sanity or a destructive pest eating the greens of life. Worrying makes the mind unsettled and unstable, and he that is unstable cannot reason well or function properly. This why Christ Jesus speaks to every mind this morning, telling us not to worry or fret. There's one thing that will never end also until Jesus Christ returns to take us home and that is, our cares and needs. We need this and that, we want to perform our duties and carry out responsibilities but we oftentimes fail to handle it through the right channel. Many have aged faster than their mates because of express worries and some have fallen to illness of sorts. God our Heavenly Father is fully aware of our cares and burdens but will not do anything until we direct our minds through Jesus Christ. His word says: Isaiah 26:3 KJV Tho...

DATE 23rd January, 2023 TOPIC The Truth LIVING SCRIPTURE John 3:3-5 KJV Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  [4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?  [5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Nicodemus unlike everyone else needed to find out the Truth of the Kingdom of God, how to see it and how to enter into Heaven. He was an educated man and of the Pharisees but what seemed true to him for many years couldn't fetch him eternal life the moment he heard several teachings of Christ Jesus. The words of Christ pricked hearts, like the double edged sword it's more sharper and everyone's conscience was left unrest. Nicodemus refused to remain with the shallow knowledge he had acqu...

DATE 21st JANUARY, 2023 TOPIC Look to Jesus Christ LIVING SCRIPTURE Hebrews 12:2 KJV Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. This morning we look at the perfect example given to the church by the LORD, where we should set our attention to meditate, ponder or let occupy our mind palace and heart. There's only one deep focus, and that is Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. By the Spirit of God that revealed this truth in the anchor scripture, He shows us the author; the mind behind the working living faith, Jesus Christ is the author of the book called faith. Look up to Him by searching in the volume of books He wrote and build up your faith from there. Jesus wrote everything needed for the manifestations of realms. Faith does not stop here alone on earth but faith is heard above in the heavens. Let the word of God gu...

DATE 20th January, 2023 TOPIC New wine LIVING SCRIPTURE Acts 2:13 KJV Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. It was a calm morning as usual as any day, as the business of the day continued with the hustle and bustle in the beautiful city. Several men sat together at a certain location in a room waiting for the latest batch supply of New wine. This wine was brewed with perfection and bliss, it was refined and therefore these men waited for the promise of a New wine. Right in the hours of the gracious morning came this batch of New Wine and each man in the room partook of it which made them drunkards. These men(brethren) were the devoted 120 that waited for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, He is the New Wine to be taken whenever we are eating or chewing the Word of God. The Holy Spirit aids digestion in our spirit, soul and body. After they tasted of Him, they were called drunks because the New wine intoxicates the souls of the saints that hunger for it. The New ...

DATE 19th January, 2023 TOPIC The Way LIVING SCRIPTURE John 14:6 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. In the beginning the earth had no shape nor pattern until the LORD God spoke structure and life into the earth. With this God created man and woman and gave them a way, a guide and instructions to follow as kings and gods here on earth before the fall of man from glory due to disobedience. In Eden there was a way, in the times of Enoch there was a way that made him please God for 300years in Genesis 5:21-24. There was a way for Noah to follow and he followed and was delivered from the great flood that shook the earth.  In the time of Abraham the way of God was like a map, that took him to the land of Canaan a land of promise. The way continued with Isaac, Jacob, Joseph then Moses the servant of God who followed this way as a burning desire. He saw the bush that burns but was not on fire, and he follow...

DATE   18th January, 2023 TOPIC No Worries LIVING SCRIPTURE Philippians 4:6 TPT Don't be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, She had nothing left, her husband recently died and there no inheritance left from his labor while he was alive. Left with despair and sorrow she faced the debtors her loving husband owed before he passed away. Her little income stream was nearly enough to fend for her and he children. She loved God and had accepted Jesus Christ also but there was so much storm brewing around her life. This woman went to church services regularly and recall in one of the sermons that God will take care of us. And she held on to this word firmly, her husband's debtors came seeking payments with threats of taking her children as an exchange for the money if she fails to make the payment. A bag of worr...

DATE   16th January, 2023 TOPIC I'll be with you LIVING SCRIPTURE John 14:18 KJV I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. "I will not leave you comfortless.." the words of a lover, a friend and most importantly the voice of a Father. Jesus Christ is mindful of His children and always seeks the best for us. He promised not to leave us without a caretaker, a lover, a guide, a comforter and He fulfilled His promise by sending to the church the Person of the Holy Spirit. Life sometimes feels cold and lonely, like no one understands you or what you are going through. Many are scared of voicing out because trust is very scarce with man and without knowing who to relate their heart issues with they get confused. The continuation of the scripture says "..I'll come to you" Jesus Christ promised to come to our rescue and He's here by His Spirit to be with you. You don't have to search for a man to make you happy or comforted, God has m...

Date : 14th January, 2023 Topic : Watch & Pray Living Scripture: 1 Peter 4:7 KJV But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. Watch and pray has been our watch word from the start of the year and God wants us to keep at it. We need to strengthen our spirit man daily in order to watch and pray sufficiently. The end times are strange times, lots of exciting and harmful things happening altogether, lots of distractions here and there. Our approach to this wise is to watch by the eyes of the Spirit of Truth and pray without ceasing.  There are various channels that needs devotion, including our hearts, homes, marriage, ministry, businesses, education and career. We must not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy but put on the armor of God. Let's teach our spouse and children the way of Christ so they can walk in the light of salvation.  We need to stop procrastinating about our prayer and study time and start acting intentionally and wi...

LIFE CAPSULE  The body of Christ today at some point has deviated from the true testimony and word of faith. Salvation is scarcely preached or taught in services and homes because many have no understanding of the Truth while many have derailed from the path. The o...

Date :  12th January, 2022 Topic : The Samaritans  Living Scripture : John 4:40 KJV So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. The Samaritans were a people often forgotten and neglected out of the Israelites. This was also because of their firm religious beliefs. But their thoughts and ways and norms did not stop our Lord Jesus Christ from reaching out to them and evangelizing the gospel that brought them freedom and peace. The word of God touched the woman at the well and she could not hold her joy, she went into the town spreading the good news . Many Samaritans came to see Jesus Christ because of his words. The Samaritans where a hungry people in need of word nourishment and not ...

Date : 11th January, 2023 Topic : Light  Living Scripture : Matthew 6:22 KJV The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. Light is as important as life and he who possesses it will never stumble. There are many elements on and above the earth that emits light but all these lights and their radiations are limited or confined to serve the purpose by which they were created. No matter how much we love the Sun because of its valuable contribution to the earth we cannot set our eyes on it because of the damage it will cause to our eyes. Likewise the Moon and the stars. But there is a light fit for our eyes that each moment we spend gazing at it we feel it's power and positive impact in our lives. The light is found in the Word of God, sitting and waiting to manifest gloriously in our lives. This light is the only key to burning out every darkness, sickness, affliction and all forms of wickedness and evil. Jesus Ch...
