Living Scripture:
1 Peter 4:7 KJV
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.


Watch and pray has been our watch word from the start of the year and God wants us to keep at it. We need to strengthen our spirit man daily in order to watch and pray sufficiently. The end times are strange times, lots of exciting and harmful things happening altogether, lots of distractions here and there. Our approach to this wise is to watch by the eyes of the Spirit of Truth and pray without ceasing. 

There are various channels that needs devotion, including our hearts, homes, marriage, ministry, businesses, education and career. We must not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy but put on the armor of God. Let's teach our spouse and children the way of Christ so they can walk in the light of salvation. 

We need to stop procrastinating about our prayer and study time and start acting intentionally and willfully. Activities will never stop but when we place wise measures by the Holy Spirit to balance our fellowship and work life. Christ Jesus led by example, he devoted His time to work, pray, fast, study, evangelize heaven and family. He was successful at it because He kept to His word.

Heavenly Father help me to be watchful and prayerful

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Inside Jesus Christ the Lamb of God is where we must dwell.
