LIVING SCRIPTURE
John 8:12 KJV
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.




In the beginning God made the Heaven and the earth and also the great lights and stars. Amongst which we have the Sun and the Moon to give light to mankind. But these lights and stars are not sufficient to lighten the world nor expel darkness and sin. They lack the capacity to save mankind from the wiles of the devil. In the days Noah, mankind dived into deep immoralities that the Sun could not swipe their sins and many lives died in disobedience and sin. The Sun and the Moon are for the seasons and times here on earth in favor to man. Part of the limitation of both lights is thag they cannot shine at once over the earth.

The good news this morning reads boldly from the anchor scripture, ...I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. This statement is the truth, made by Jesus Christ. With him there are no limitations, none at all. His light shines over all and for all who believes in Him. The light of God is not limited to timezones or space regulations. The light of God is the giver of hope to the lost, the strength to the weak, the way to all nations and tribes to gain access to the Father, the lamp for directions in life and destiny. The Light of God seats firmly in the hearts of His beloved children. Do you see through His eyes? Hear from His Holy Spirit? Walk by His Words or fellowship in His presence? Come to the saving light and receive salvation this morning.


TO-DO
Open your heart and receive the Light of God in the person of Christ Jesus to drive away all forms of darkness and lighten up your life and family.


PRAYER
Heavenly Father I need Heaven's Light within me and with me.

Holy Spirit come into my life and shine the light of Christ over me.

Date - December 22nd, 2021 Topic - THE FIRST WITNESSES   Bible Text - When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. - Luke 2:17-18 As anyone who has ever been part of a living nativity can tell you, the shepherds played an important role in the Christmas story. Angels announced Jesus’ birth to them. Since angels only do God’s bidding, it’s safe to say God wanted the shepherds involved. Naturally the shepherds were overwhelmed and frightened at first.
