DATE 30th May, 2023 TOPIC Obedience LIVING SCRIPTURE Genesis 26:5 KJV Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. Obedience is a way to serve the LORD with none of our will and all of His will. Many before us have lived and served the LORD and few of them actually followed through obediently. Noah heard the voice of the LORD to build an Ark for the deliverance of mankind in his time which he did successfully. And his family and animals that also obeyed where saved. If Noah had delayed or rebelled against the LORD it would have been disastrous for them. We see Abraham who's walk with God was from scratch, no formal training or mentorship from any man but a heart of obedience unto the LORD to set a foundation for us to follow. Till date mankind and especially those in Christ are still living in fears. Like the disciples of Jesus Christ on the boat with Him and yet they were afraid of the storm. Many children of God often forget that Jesus Christ lives in their hearts and with them by His Spirit always. The storms of life will hit hard and be contrary against our progress and destiny but we should not forget that Jesus is LORD. On this wise the Psalmist began to meditate and it became clearer to him who owns the earth and it's inhabitants. He saw the wonders of God and the secrets to be searched out by kings. Despite walking through the valley of the shadow of death, which includes all the news on corruption, assassination, death, disasters, diseases, wars and many more things happening! DATE May 20th, 2023 TOPIC Carry Jesus with You LIVING SCRIPTURE John 17:18 KJV As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. The message and the mandate that is universal for every child of God is to carry Jesus Christ in our hearts everywhere we go and where we live and work. It is not because we feel like it but because it is a command that Jesus has sent us out to represent the Father and that through our testimony many will come to the Father. When we go out each day and interact with the society whosoever we represent will automatically be whom the world will see in us. When we carry Jesus with us daily we are guaranteed of a lifestyle that men will see the glory of God in our lives when we speak wisdom. Jesus Christ sent us into the world to lead and that righteousness be seen in us. Let us not make the mistake of carrying wealth about alone, but also carry love!
