PATIENCE

May 19th – Capsule 19

TOPIC: PATIENCE

BIBLE TEXT: For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise – Hebrews 10 vs 36

A believer must equip him or herself with this virtue from on the tree of the Holy Spirit. Without it, man becomes a monster, desperate and misled. To walk in the will of God Our Father, you must seek righteousness and in doing so, you need patience from the Lord and it starts the moment you trust Christ Jesus and His written Word.

The above scripture reveals this truth, that there is a promise to be received through patience. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, ‘Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? – Luke 18 vs 8b. This question is to challenge every believer to wait patiently for the promise of Our Lord Jesus Christ and not lose hope in the Word of God.

Many failing Christians have lost hope and many will still lose hope, but the Word of life says that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40 vs 31a). When you wait on God patiently you become renewed in Christ. Also in waiting on God you must be prepared like the wise virgins in Matthew 25, you must wait righteously, and in the fear of the Lord. Because of their consistency and patience, they met the bridegroom while the impatient 5, missed him.

In waiting on God, you must study the Word of God and activate faith with actions on everyday life activities.

Prayer: O Lord, help me to wait patiently on all your promises in my life and through your Word in Jesus name.

Insight: Patience is a wonderful fruit from the tree of the Holy Spirit, you can receive it in Him everyday.

NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH

Date - December 28th, 2021 Topic - NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH Bible Text - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 Your parents love you. You may be able to do something that makes them angry, but you will never be able to do anything that makes them stop loving you. Try to imagine this kind of love and then multiply it by infinity. That’s the love that Jesus has for you. That’s the love that God has for you. God made you. He loved you enough to create you. He loved you enough to give you free will. Then he loved you enough to give you his Son. He loved you enough to forgive you for turning away from him. This is an impossible love! This is a love that we may never understand. But we don’t have to understand it. We just have to a...

Breakfast with Jesus

DATE 24th June, 2023 TOPIC Breakfast with Jesus LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 65:4 KJV Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. The Psalmist was a peculiar man and one that feared the LORD and walked in the paths of righteousness. In his meditation and Psalms, he learnt to dine with Jesus Christ early and through Psalms, from the 63rd to the 66th, he found a way to breakfast with Jesus. The first contact we should have everyday is Jesus Christ, to receive of His glorious satisfaction early, contentment and to be filled with the goodness and mercy He gives His children daily. When a child eats with his parents there's that joy and peace within, such comfort and full assurance. Jesus Christ always ate with our Heavenly Father while He was here on earth, He sought after the LORD daily and was satisfied with the glory and goodness of the Father. Each...

Forgiveness of Sins

DATE - April 7th, 2022 TOPIC - Forgiveness of Sins BIBLE TEXT - Acts 5:31 AMP God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior and Deliverer, in order to grant repentance to Israel, and [to grant] forgiveness of sins. Apostle Peter stood tall before the council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) to speak with boldness about a God who Saves and sets free any sinner from the power of sin. As a man who has been shown mercy though a man once filled with sinful ways, the Holy Spirit quickened him through his personal testimony of experiencing true forgiveness of sins before the Jewish High Court. Peter was a local fisherman with no knowledge of the gospel truth, who lived as he pleased. Until he encountered Jesus when Christ was walking by the sea of Galilee and he spotted Simon Peter who was in his boat struggling to catch a few fishes for days. Like many out there today who are living in sin and still struggling to make ends meet, Jesus is passing through that street, area...
