TOPIC: POSITION YOURSELF TO RECEIVE

BIBLE TEXT: If you hold anything against anyone, forgive him – Mark 11 vs. 25 (NIV)

Sometimes forgiving is the hardest thing you will ever do. Jesus said, in effect, “Don’t just dismiss it – throw the case out of the court!” Make a decision never to discuss it again. When you consider how often God has forgiven you, how could you think of doing less? Don’t wait for the other person to ask, and don’t criticize them if they never do – that’s between God and them. Forgiveness is for your profit! You are removing the roadblock between you and His blessing.

In Mark 11 vs. 23, Jesus said or told His disciples to tell the mountain to move and it will move. Perhaps you are thinking, “I spoke to my mountain and it grew”. But notice that Jesus also said, “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11 vs. 24). Perhaps you are saying, “I prayed, I claimed, I believed and nothing has happened”.

Then you need to focus on this verse, “If you hold anything against anyone, forgive him so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins”.

Prayer: O Lord, I stand in your presence, I open my heart, close the door on the past and say; Lord, I have forgiven any and all, as you have forgiven me in Jesus name. I’m ready now for everything you have for me today and always.

Insight: These words could be the key to your deliverance, and the door to your record-breaking.

IT RUBS OFF

AUGUST 9th - CAPSULE 9 TOPIC: IT RUBS OFF BIBLE TEXT: Exodus 34 vs. 29 – His face glowed from being in the presence of God. You can only talk convincingly about the God you know, the one you’ve spent time with. Any other God belongs in a theology book, and you will have a hard time selling Him. When Moses came down from the mountain, his face shone. He had been in God’s presence, and when you’ve been there it shows in the way you look, the way you walk and talk, the way you treat your family, the way you spend your money and the way you respond to hurting people.
