SPREAD THE “I LOVE YOU” VIRUS

May 10th – Capsule 10

TOPIC: SPREAD THE “I LOVE YOU” VIRUS

BIBLE TEXT: I give you a new commandment: love one another, just as I have loved you, you must also love one another – John 13 vs. 34

A deadly virus rocked the computer world a while ago. Millions logged on one morning to read their email, only to find their computers infected by a virus masquerading as the message, “I love you”. Whomever sent it was clever, they understood the tug of those words. After all, who could resist opening an email with that title?

Jesus told His disciples “By this all men will know that ye are My disciples, if you have love (Not doctrinal agreement) for one another” (John 13 vs. 35). We never lose our need to feel loved and appreciated. Never! Even when we act tough and put on a front. So, don’t act like the crusty old Irishman who said to his wife, “I told you I loved you, when I married you 50 years ago – and if it ever changes, I will let you know”.

Lower your guard. Open your heart. Take the time today to tell at least one person that you love them – and really mean it. You will be amazed at how good it will make you both feel.

“Love cures people; both the ones who give it, and the ones who receive it”

Prayer: Lord. Help me to be a practitioner of your Word, give me grace to love others.

Insight: Ask God to help you demonstrate love.

May God Help us to be a practitioner of His Word, & give us grace to love others, as church and a nation at large. I'm indeed Blessed. Amen

MARY, DID YOU KNOW?

Date - December 19th, 2021 Topic - MARY, DID YOU KNOW? Bible Text - But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.” - Luke 1:30-31 If God had asked the women of Israel who wanted to be the mother of the Messiah, every one of them would have raised her hand. If they had known what that privilege would actually involve—becoming pregnant before marriage, enduring terrible gossip, watching helplessly as their Son was mocked, ridiculed, tortured and crucified—those hands would have come down in a hurry. Mary certainly didn’t volunteer for the job. And she was stunned to discover she’d been selected for such an important role. She handled the extraordinary situation with grace and humility. She asked one question to help her understand God’s plan, then agreed to it immediately. God has a plan for each of us. Ours may not be as earth-shattering as Mary’s. Ou...

NOW

Date 📅 18th October, 2022 Topic NOW Living Scripture Hebrews 11:1,7 KJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [7] By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Now we begin to walk in the ways of faith and truth as our fathers in faith and mighty men of old and just as they witnessed the glory of God first hand so shall we if we act now. The perfect example is Noah and the ark, a man of grace and wisdom. The world was stained with disobedience, sinful ways and thick immoralities. And God decided to wipe the inhabitants of the earth with a great flood such as have never been before and even after. The heavens where ready to open the flood gates and the earth to let out her waters. When God spoke to Noah, he acted immediately and finished the ark on time and he eva...

MAKE PRAYER A LIFESTYLE

JUNE 13TH – CAPSULE 13  TOPIC: MAKE PRAYER A LIFESTYLE  BIBLE TEXT : EXODUS 30 VS 7-8 – Aaron must burn sweet incense on it. Every morning, when he trims the lamps, he must burn incense. When Aaron lights the lamps at sundown, he must burn incense on it. It is to be a perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations . Growing in the things of the Lord requires consistency in prayers, in studying God’s word and in obedience to His will. Aaron brother of Moses was the High Priest of Israel who followed a constant divine lifestyle that required him to pray every morning, afternoon and evening hours and during any operations that was required of him. He maintained this lifestyle all the days of his life.  Our Lord Jesus Christ came to fulfill the Father’s will and He was successful because He maintained a constant praying life. The goal ahead is not just for 5 or 10 minutes prayers but for a daily flow of intercessions, supplications and much thanksgi...
