HOW BIG IS YOUR MISTAKE QUOATA?

JUNE 10TH – CAPSULE 10

TOPIC: HOW BIG IS YOUR MISTAKE QUOATA?

BIBLE TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 15 VS 58 – Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

There’s a righteous zeal in our hearts that ignites a fiery passion for the Lord. But often times during this period we make mistakes and have some errors and these things have discouraged many in the faith. God’s perfection is in truth and acknowledging the errors of life and how glorious the Lord has been to us.

King David was as man after God’s heart; 1Samuel 13 vs 14, the psalmist we all love and talk about in our teaching and preaching of the gospel of Christ. But this lovely child of God had a huge percentage of errors, disobedience and mistakes. He counted Israel when God said no one should, he lusted on Uriah’s wife, Bathsheba and committed adultery and covetousness, he killed Uriah because of his selfish desires.

Now he still loved God but fell sometimes and the good news of it all is that he always bounces back on his feet to serve the Lord God. And all his efforts were not in vain nor stopped, if they were, those psalms we read would be impotent, but glory to God who counts us worthy despite our mistake quoatas.

You might have a big percent of mistakes and errors in your lifetime but always ensure that you seek the Lord for mercy and He'll let your works in Him to abide in His chronicles. Keep the zeal burning for the lord and God will be pleased.

Prayer: O Lord, I repent from my mistakes, errors and wrong doings that have piled before thee, may thy goodness show case my service in you in Jesus name.

Insight: God still cares about you.

NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH

Date - December 28th, 2021 Topic - NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH Bible Text - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 Your parents love you. You may be able to do something that makes them angry, but you will never be able to do anything that makes them stop loving you. Try to imagine this kind of love and then multiply it by infinity. That’s the love that Jesus has for you. That’s the love that God has for you. God made you. He loved you enough to create you. He loved you enough to give you free will. Then he loved you enough to give you his Son. He loved you enough to forgive you for turning away from him. This is an impossible love! This is a love that we may never understand. But we don’t have to understand it. We just have to a...

Breakfast with Jesus

DATE 24th June, 2023 TOPIC Breakfast with Jesus LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 65:4 KJV Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. The Psalmist was a peculiar man and one that feared the LORD and walked in the paths of righteousness. In his meditation and Psalms, he learnt to dine with Jesus Christ early and through Psalms, from the 63rd to the 66th, he found a way to breakfast with Jesus. The first contact we should have everyday is Jesus Christ, to receive of His glorious satisfaction early, contentment and to be filled with the goodness and mercy He gives His children daily. When a child eats with his parents there's that joy and peace within, such comfort and full assurance. Jesus Christ always ate with our Heavenly Father while He was here on earth, He sought after the LORD daily and was satisfied with the glory and goodness of the Father. Each...

Forgiveness of Sins

DATE - April 7th, 2022 TOPIC - Forgiveness of Sins BIBLE TEXT - Acts 5:31 AMP God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior and Deliverer, in order to grant repentance to Israel, and [to grant] forgiveness of sins. Apostle Peter stood tall before the council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) to speak with boldness about a God who Saves and sets free any sinner from the power of sin. As a man who has been shown mercy though a man once filled with sinful ways, the Holy Spirit quickened him through his personal testimony of experiencing true forgiveness of sins before the Jewish High Court. Peter was a local fisherman with no knowledge of the gospel truth, who lived as he pleased. Until he encountered Jesus when Christ was walking by the sea of Galilee and he spotted Simon Peter who was in his boat struggling to catch a few fishes for days. Like many out there today who are living in sin and still struggling to make ends meet, Jesus is passing through that street, area...
