MAKE PRAYER A LIFESTYLE

JUNE 13TH – CAPSULE 13

TOPIC: MAKE PRAYER A LIFESTYLE

BIBLE TEXT: EXODUS 30 VS 7-8 – Aaron must burn sweet incense on it. Every morning, when he trims the lamps, he must burn incense. When Aaron lights the lamps at sundown, he must burn incense on it. It is to be a perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations.

Growing in the things of the Lord requires consistency in prayers, in studying God’s word and in obedience to His will. Aaron brother of Moses was the High Priest of Israel who followed a constant divine lifestyle that required him to pray every morning, afternoon and evening hours and during any operations that was required of him. He maintained this lifestyle all the days of his life.

Our Lord Jesus Christ came to fulfill the Father’s will and He was successful because He maintained a constant praying life. The goal ahead is not just for 5 or 10 minutes prayers but for a daily flow of intercessions, supplications and much thanksgiving unto the Lord. God has given grace through Christ Jesus to be able to reach out to the deep. Just the way we need to eat, breathe, bath, clean and all other activities we do everyday physically, let us adopt a praying lifestyle and maintain it.

When you love God, you'll seek Him often and to do that, you must activate the heavenly system of communication and this channel works through prayer and worship to bring about a holy fellowship, to develop intimacy and a strong connection with God. To inspire, to be informed, to seek direction, to know the truth and much more. Every successful Christian, starting from the book of beginning (Genesis) till date made prayer unto God a lifestyle.

Prayer: Help me Lord to pray often, I desire to live a life of prayer.

Insight: Every winning christian has a lifestyle of prayer.

NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH

Date - December 28th, 2021 Topic - NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH Bible Text - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 Your parents love you. You may be able to do something that makes them angry, but you will never be able to do anything that makes them stop loving you. Try to imagine this kind of love and then multiply it by infinity. That’s the love that Jesus has for you. That’s the love that God has for you. God made you. He loved you enough to create you. He loved you enough to give you free will. Then he loved you enough to give you his Son. He loved you enough to forgive you for turning away from him. This is an impossible love! This is a love that we may never understand. But we don’t have to understand it. We just have to a...

Breakfast with Jesus

DATE 24th June, 2023 TOPIC Breakfast with Jesus LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 65:4 KJV Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. The Psalmist was a peculiar man and one that feared the LORD and walked in the paths of righteousness. In his meditation and Psalms, he learnt to dine with Jesus Christ early and through Psalms, from the 63rd to the 66th, he found a way to breakfast with Jesus. The first contact we should have everyday is Jesus Christ, to receive of His glorious satisfaction early, contentment and to be filled with the goodness and mercy He gives His children daily. When a child eats with his parents there's that joy and peace within, such comfort and full assurance. Jesus Christ always ate with our Heavenly Father while He was here on earth, He sought after the LORD daily and was satisfied with the glory and goodness of the Father. Each...

Forgiveness of Sins

DATE - April 7th, 2022 TOPIC - Forgiveness of Sins BIBLE TEXT - Acts 5:31 AMP God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior and Deliverer, in order to grant repentance to Israel, and [to grant] forgiveness of sins. Apostle Peter stood tall before the council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) to speak with boldness about a God who Saves and sets free any sinner from the power of sin. As a man who has been shown mercy though a man once filled with sinful ways, the Holy Spirit quickened him through his personal testimony of experiencing true forgiveness of sins before the Jewish High Court. Peter was a local fisherman with no knowledge of the gospel truth, who lived as he pleased. Until he encountered Jesus when Christ was walking by the sea of Galilee and he spotted Simon Peter who was in his boat struggling to catch a few fishes for days. Like many out there today who are living in sin and still struggling to make ends meet, Jesus is passing through that street, area...
