RISE ABOVE YOUR FEARS

JUNE 4TH – CAPSULE 4

TOPIC: RISE ABOVE YOUR FEARS

BIBLE TEXT: Psalm 27 vs 1 – The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Littleness and smallness comes upon a man, as a result of insecurities, inferiority and superiority complex, which are all anxieties and limitations caused by the spirit of fear. A timid child of God cannot rise up to God's expectations and manifestations on earth because of one phobia or the other. Wake up child of God and cast out the spirit of fear from your life and you’ll enjoy the goodness of our God.

The whispers of fears creates doubts in believers which opposes the Words of God in our hearts. We need the light of the Lord consistently and we must not forget the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When you recognize and recall who Christ is and what he means to you, it will take you above fear and into faith. To rise above your fears, you need an increasing faith through the Word of God, then your actions and decisions afterwards will speak for you.

Trusting God as your strength, shows your dependency on Him, to help your weaknesses, as a reliable Father. With God securing all you have, whom shall you fear? The answer is no-one. When God defends, he preserves and when He keeps, it is secured. Run to the Lord in prayers and utilize His Words of life on the Bible and you’ll rise above your fear.

Prayer: O Lord, with you on my side I have no fear, Dear Father I belong to you forever in Jesus name.

Insight: To rise above your fears, you must walk and work by Faith.

THINKING GOD’S WAY

JULY 9TH – CAPSULE 9  TOPIC: THINKING GOD’S WAY  BIBLE TEXT: EPHESIANS 4VS23 – Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. How you process information and arrive at conclusions must always be subject to the will of God. Listen, “……….be made new in the attitude of your minds”. When you first start thinking Gods way, it will feel strange to you. It may even feel like a “put-on”. But it’s not. It works like this: you have to  (a). Practice being nice until you automatically become nice.  (b). Practice going to church on Sunday, until going anywhere else seems strange to you.  (c). Practice giving to God until it be comes as natural to you as shopping at the mall.  (d). Practice speaking the truth until even the smallest lie tastes bad in your mouth.  (e). Practice speaking kindness until every cynical, negative word is purged from your vocabulary. Its all a matter of practice! But you ask, “ isn’t that hypocritical – feeling one way and speaking an...

The Narrow Path

DATE : September 12, 2021 TOPIC : The Narrow Path BIBLE TEXT: Matthew 7v13&14 – Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The road to eternity is a narrow path, with a single choice. There are no alternatives into eternity. It is either you walk through the narrow way into heaven or you follow the broad path that leads men (souls) to hell fire. God sent His only Son to die for mankind, creating the way, the truth and the life, to all who believe in Christ Jesus. It is either you make a choice to follow Jesus or you walk straight into hell. Many are searching for this path in the wrong direction, places, traditions, customs, beliefs and religions but cannot find it there. Only those that hear about the Kingdom of Heaven coming soon and believe in Jesus Christ shal...

IT RUBS OFF

AUGUST 9th - CAPSULE 9 TOPIC: IT RUBS OFF BIBLE TEXT: Exodus 34 vs. 29 – His face glowed from being in the presence of God. You can only talk convincingly about the God you know, the one you’ve spent time with. Any other God belongs in a theology book, and you will have a hard time selling Him. When Moses came down from the mountain, his face shone. He had been in God’s presence, and when you’ve been there it shows in the way you look, the way you walk and talk, the way you treat your family, the way you spend your money and the way you respond to hurting people. It rubs off!   Paul Cain says “most of us are as close to God as we want to be”. Think about it “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you” (James 4 vs. 8). How could you possibly be the same when you’ve been with Him? He transforms everything He touches. Listen – He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91 vs. 1). He didn’t say “visit” or...
