TOPIC: SATAN'S SCHEMES

BIBLE TEXT: 2 Corinthians 2 vs 11 – To keep Satan from taking advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

The accuser of the brethren, Satan is looking for whom he will accuse amongst God's children, going to and fro the earth in search of broken edges and cracks on the walls, so he can sneak in or crawl into lives to steal, kill and destroy. Knowing that the devil is a master of schemes, we must not let him have an edge or advantage over us.

When believers commit sin or disobey God's given Instructions and the Word of God, we give access to the devil to afflict us. Our Lord Jesus commands us to forgive and do away with anger everyday so we don’t let darkness into our hearts. Amongst the schemes of darkness, there is one found in the lives of believers today, and it is called unforgiveness. This is a cancer, a spiritual virus that paves the way for all kinds of darkness to flood in. Little besetting sins are often overlooked and they gradually develop into destructions. These are schemes, evil plots and manipulations of the devil.

When you know the kind of devices and tools the devil operates through, you’ll be at an advantage when you apply God's word to your life everyday. Jesus Christ said, the ruler of this world is coming and has nothing on me – John 14 vs 30. This facts states that no scheme or device of the devil, can operate in the life of Christ Jesus nor has power over him.


Prayer: Father, open the eyes of my spirit to walk in righteousness and to avoid the schemes of the devil in Jesus name. 

Insight: Give no room to the devil

Heaven

The Kingdom of Heaven was described by our Lord Jesus Christ in various descriptive narratives pointing out the hidden truth in several parables. Heaven contains important life lessons on the purpose of every child of God here on earth and finding it makes the will of God visible to us and achievable here on earth. This morning we see Heaven from the business man perspective, enriching and equipping His own servants with goods that are all profitable. Heaven is real and Christ Jesus only invest in His own servants. God doesn't bless a mess, He works with as many who believes in Christ Jesus His Son who died for the world. God instructs His Son to deposit into every child of His talents that will favor them, show that they are useful and can work with Heaven....
