TRUE GREATNESS

JUNE 19TH – CAPSULE 19

TOPIC: TRUE GREATNESS (THE WAY OF LOVE)

BIBLE TEXT: MATTHEW 7 VS 12 – In everything you do, be careful to treat others in the same way you’d want them to treat you, for that is the essence of all the teachings of the law and the prophet.

We serve a good God, who is faithful and gracious in all His ways. God the Father is the first to obey and act on the word (principles of heaven). The bible reveals a glorious fact, which states in Romans 5 vs 8 – But God commandeth his love toward us, in that, while yet we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God is love and need us to reciprocate love and for Him to receive love, He reveals to us much more, John 3vs16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son; that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God treats us well and these facts are visibly seen everywhere today.

This is the principle of God for us all, a golden rule to guide our actions of giving and receiving. As children of God we desire good treatments, love, kindness, gifts and peace and the only way to achieve such wonders of God is to diligently follow the trading system of heaven, for what you sow, that is what you reap, don’t expect a different harvest. When you sow love, you'll reap bountiful joy likewise when you sow evil, you'll also reap bountiful wickedness.

Treat others well, just as the commandment of God instructs us, love your neighbour as you love yourself and don't forget to extend forgiveness and mercy towards those that hate you. When you treat others well, In doing so, you please the Father and you've show that you are capable of loving the Lord in return for all His goodness and mercy towards your life.

Prayer: O Lord, teach me your ways, I want to sow seeds of love and I want to treat others well in Jesus name.

Insight: True greatness is found in treating others as you would love to be treated.

NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH

Date - December 28th, 2021 Topic - NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH Bible Text - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 Your parents love you. You may be able to do something that makes them angry, but you will never be able to do anything that makes them stop loving you. Try to imagine this kind of love and then multiply it by infinity. That’s the love that Jesus has for you. That’s the love that God has for you. God made you. He loved you enough to create you. He loved you enough to give you free will. Then he loved you enough to give you his Son. He loved you enough to forgive you for turning away from him. This is an impossible love! This is a love that we may never understand. But we don’t have to understand it. We just have to a...

Breakfast with Jesus

DATE 24th June, 2023 TOPIC Breakfast with Jesus LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 65:4 KJV Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. The Psalmist was a peculiar man and one that feared the LORD and walked in the paths of righteousness. In his meditation and Psalms, he learnt to dine with Jesus Christ early and through Psalms, from the 63rd to the 66th, he found a way to breakfast with Jesus. The first contact we should have everyday is Jesus Christ, to receive of His glorious satisfaction early, contentment and to be filled with the goodness and mercy He gives His children daily. When a child eats with his parents there's that joy and peace within, such comfort and full assurance. Jesus Christ always ate with our Heavenly Father while He was here on earth, He sought after the LORD daily and was satisfied with the glory and goodness of the Father. Each...

Forgiveness of Sins

DATE - April 7th, 2022 TOPIC - Forgiveness of Sins BIBLE TEXT - Acts 5:31 AMP God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior and Deliverer, in order to grant repentance to Israel, and [to grant] forgiveness of sins. Apostle Peter stood tall before the council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) to speak with boldness about a God who Saves and sets free any sinner from the power of sin. As a man who has been shown mercy though a man once filled with sinful ways, the Holy Spirit quickened him through his personal testimony of experiencing true forgiveness of sins before the Jewish High Court. Peter was a local fisherman with no knowledge of the gospel truth, who lived as he pleased. Until he encountered Jesus when Christ was walking by the sea of Galilee and he spotted Simon Peter who was in his boat struggling to catch a few fishes for days. Like many out there today who are living in sin and still struggling to make ends meet, Jesus is passing through that street, area...
