Trust

JUNE 3RD – CAPSULE 3

TOPIC: TRUST

BIBLE TEXT: Proverbs 3 vs 5 – 6: Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and  he will lead in every decision you make. Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and He will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all (TPT)

Putting into test an action to determine trust in men, shows absolute failure and frustration. As believers we work with faith, which are facts given, by Our Heavenly Father. While a man will say: ‘I’ll do it for you, don’t worry its going to be taken care of' and you hope on these words but death took the individual and suddenly you fall into depression and sorrow.

The only one to trust is God in three Person (The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost). Christ has never failed and will never fail us. Hebrews 13 vs 8 tells us the stand of Christ on trust; that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Put your whole trust in Jesus.

Have you tried trusting God in your life, your work, your home, your marriage, your relationship, your education? You can start today because He is not a man that should lie or a neighbour that leaks out secrets after a disagreement or quarrel. He is faithful and will keep His end of the covenant even when you disappoint God, He remains faithful to His promise.

Psalm 23,  reveals these words of life, gotten from the Psalmist, King David when he entrusted his life and destiny into the Hands of the Lord – ‘The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want', He trusted the Lord to satisfy all his needs; though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod (Word) and thy staff(Holy Ghost), they comfort me' – Psalm 23 vs 1 & 4.

Insight: Trust the Lord completely and He will take care of you.

Prayer: Dear Father of Our Lord Jesus, help me to trust you completely in Jesus name.

DO TI NOW

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! Redeem the new moments of your life. Because the time and age ...

Capsule One - (WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY?)

May 1st – Capsule 1 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY? BIBLE TEXT: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which easily beset us … Hebrews 12 vs. 1 You will start getting well when getting well is what matters most to you. Let your desperation drive you beyond concern about the opinions of others. As long as you are more conscious of people than you are of God, you will never get what you need. When Hannah, Samuel’s mother, prayed in the temple, there was so much locked inside her that when she began to pray and pour her heart out, Eli thought she was drunk (see 1 Samuel 1 vs. 13). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus. They had carefully laid plans, and cry like blind Bartimaeus, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10 vs. 47). When you are blind, all that matters is receiving your sight. When it looks like there’s no way out fo...

NOW

Date 📅 18th October, 2022 Topic NOW Living Scripture Hebrews 11:1,7 KJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [7] By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Now we begin to walk in the ways of faith and truth as our fathers in faith and mighty men of old and just as they witnessed the glory of God first hand so shall we if we act now. The perfect example is Noah and the ark, a man of grace and wisdom. The world was stained with disobedience, sinful ways and thick immoralities. And God decided to wipe the inhabitants of the earth with a great flood such as have never been before and even after. The heavens where ready to open the flood gates and the earth to let out her waters. When God spoke to Noah, he acted immediately and finished the ark on time and he eva...
