TOPIC: CONCENTRATE ON YOUR GOAL

BIBLE TEXT: LUKE 9 vs. 62 – And Jesus said to him, no man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.

As children of God, we are instructed by the Word of God, to follow the narrow path and to do the will of God. We must concentrate on our goal, which is to make Heaven. We were also instructed in Luke 9 vs. 60b – go thou and preach the Kingdom of God.

Apostle Paul was an excellent example of one who concentrated on his goal and he gave this glorious testimony to the church to encourage and to increase our faith in God. That we can also finish well, if only we concentrate on our goal. 2Timothy 4 vs. 7 Paul said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course (my tasks and reached my goal), I have kept the faith (I remained focus until the end, holding unto the Word of God).

Jesus Christ was and is about His Father’s business, with much zeal, and He expects us as children of the same Father to concentrate on the things of God and preach the Kingdom of Heaven. Don’t be too attached to your family, job, business, education or worldly things, that they become an excuse you constantly give for not serving God properly. Or an excuse to be absent from your duty post as a child of God. Hold these Words in Mind beloved, No man having put his hand to the plough, and looking back (too attached to the past life and ways), is fit for the Kingdom of God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I want to concentrate on the task you’ve given to me, please forgive my disobedience, I won’t look back again.

Insight: Seek first the Kingdom of God and it’s righteousness daily.

The Narrow Path

DATE : September 12, 2021 TOPIC : The Narrow Path BIBLE TEXT: Matthew 7v13&14 – Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. The road to eternity is a narrow path, with a single choice. There are no alternatives into eternity. It is either you walk through the narrow way into heaven or you follow the broad path that leads men (souls) to hell fire. God sent His only Son to die for mankind, creating the way, the truth and the life, to all who believe in Christ Jesus. It is either you make a choice to follow Jesus or you walk straight into hell. Many are searching for this path in the wrong direction, places, traditions, customs, beliefs and religions but cannot find it there. AUGUST 9th - CAPSULE 9 TOPIC: IT RUBS OFF BIBLE TEXT: Exodus 34 vs. 29 – His face glowed from being in the presence of God. You can only talk convincingly about the God you know, the one you’ve spent time with. Any other God belongs in a theology book, and you will have a hard time selling Him. When Moses came down from the mountain, his face shone. He had been in God’s presence, and when you’ve been there it shows in the way you look, the way you walk and talk, the way you treat your family, the way you spend your money and the way you respond to hurting people. It rubs off! Paul Cain says “most of us are as close to God as we want to be”. Think about it “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you” (James 4 vs. 8). How could you possibly be the same when you’ve been with Him? He transforms everything He touches.
