DON’T TAKE THE BAIT

11TH – CAPSULE 11

TOPIC: DON’T TAKE THE BAIT

BIBLE TEXT: LUKE 17VS1 – It is impossible that no offences should come. [NKJV]

Jesus said it is impossible to live on this world and not be offended. So why then are you so shocked when it happens to us? The Greek word for “offence” literally means a trap with bait on it, and when we take offense, we have taken the devils bait, and we finish up in a trap. We become self-absorbed and resentful. We lose our joy and can’t function properly.

So what can you do? Jesus told the end-age believer’s to, “anoint your eyes with eye salves, that ye may see well” [Revelation 3vs18], see that? See your own attitude in all of this! You will only repent when you see the condition of heart, and stop blaming other people.

The wonderful things is, when the spirit of God shows you your sins, you will feel conviction, and not condemnation. When He does, don’t carry that offence another step.

Insight: Forgive the offspring party, as God has forgiven you…….then move on.

MARY, DID YOU KNOW?

Date - December 19th, 2021 Topic - MARY, DID YOU KNOW? Bible Text - But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.” - Luke 1:30-31 If God had asked the women of Israel who wanted to be the mother of the Messiah, every one of them would have raised her hand. If they had known what that privilege would actually involve—becoming pregnant before marriage, enduring terrible gossip, watching helplessly as their Son was mocked, ridiculed, tortured and crucified—those hands would have come down in a hurry. Mary certainly didn’t volunteer for the job. And she was stunned to discover she’d been selected for such an important role. She handled the extraordinary situation with grace and humility. She asked one question to help her understand God’s plan, then agreed to it immediately. God has a plan for each of us. Ours may not be as earth-shattering as Mary’s. Ou...

DO TI NOW

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! Redeem the new moments of your life. Because the time and age ...

Unending Mercy

Date 📅 11th November, 2022 Topic Unending Mercy Living Scripture 1 Chronicles 16:34 KJV O give thanks unto the Lord ; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. Hallelujah brethren! This is the day which our Heavenly Father has made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it because His mercy and compassion is unending. When we think of the goodness of Jesus Christ in our lives we'll discover how much love He poured on us collectively and individually. On this glorious day King David sang his Psalm of Thanksgiving and adoration first unto the LORD with Asaph the chief musician on the cymbals. The ark of covenant was returning to its place in Israel after the victory over their enemies and relocation from the house of Obed-edom. It was a great day, the people fed and rejoiced at the feast of worship made by King David unto the LORD. As we start our day this morning, take time to worship God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit for all and everything you can rememb...
