TOPIC: GOD’S ACTION FOR MAN’S BENEFIT

BIBLE TEXT: Hebrews 2 vs. 10 – For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons into glory . . . . . . .

God’s way of doing things are so unique and inexplicable in today’s passage, we are made to understand the uniqueness in God’s decision to elevate man. He had to make His only Son Jesus, who through Him everything exist; to pass through untold hardship, suffering and even dying on the cross, so that sinful man and woman, like I and you have salvation.

The benefits of Christ sufferings and shameful death on the cross like a criminal, is the victory He won for man. With understanding, accepting, appreciating the suffering and victory of Christ, every believer is more than a conqueror (Romans 8 vs. 37 – 39). As a Christian, how much do you understand the hardship Christ passed through for you? How are you appreciating Him for that? The sacrificial life Christ lived and died for your glorification, breakthrough, achievements and elevation in all ramifications, must be committedly appreciated.

Whatever you are passing through as a believer, look up to the cross where Christ was crucified, hand them over and set yourself free from unwanted burdens and bondages. Do know that only true believers and those who are truly born again and have become new creatures can benefit (2 Corinthians 5 vs. 17)

Prayer: God teach me how to understand the meaning of sacrificing for your only Son Jesus.

AUGUST 9th - CAPSULE 9 TOPIC: IT RUBS OFF BIBLE TEXT: Exodus 34 vs. 29 – His face glowed from being in the presence of God. You can only talk convincingly about the God you know, the one you’ve spent time with. Any other God belongs in a theology book, and you will have a hard time selling Him. When Moses came down from the mountain, his face shone. He had been in God’s presence, and when you’ve been there it shows in the way you look, the way you walk and talk, the way you treat your family, the way you spend your money and the way you respond to hurting people. It rubs off! Paul Cain says “most of us are as close to God as we want to be”. Think about it “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you” (James 4 vs. 8). How could you possibly be the same when you’ve been with Him? He transforms everything He touches. The road to eternity is a narrow path, with a single choice. There are no alternatives into eternity. It usually takes weeks or sometimes days for the leaves to grow or sprout and then it takes years before it can produce those edible mango fruits which we all like to chew.
