HOPE (JUSTICE FOR THE POOR)

DATE: 13TH OCTOBER, 2021

TOPIC: HOPE (JUSTICE FOR THE POOR)

BIBLE TEXT: Luke 4:18 TPT
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, 'You are set free!' I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God's great acceptance has begun." TPT

Jesus Christ came with the heavenly information we call the Good News which is the Gospel of truth unto the poor in spirit. His mission has a purpose for everyone facing oppression and attacks from the devil. He came to set the captives free, to teach the poor the access route to receive victory and justice. Jesus went through the rural areas of Israel, from one village unto another, preaching and doing the work of our Heavenly Father.

A certain woman, a daughter of Abraham was robbed of her freedom and could in no wise stand straight but was bent over for 18(eighteen) years. She suffered from oppression, and much afflictions from the devil, until she met Jesus Luke13:10-13. It was her right to be free but lacked the knowledge of a liberator and a mediator. Life seemed impossible until she met Jesus and received justice. No one was able to loose the bands and chains that was use to tie her down.

You maybe wondering where help will come from and who will take up your case?
Who will defend you and your family?
Jesus Christ is the complete Justice giver. Call unto Him and believe in Him and be saved. At the mention of the name Jesus Christ every knee shall bow that has ever made you cry and suffer.

Prayer: Heavenly Father I receive Justice as you judge my enemies in the name of Jesus Christ.

Insight: Whosoever Christ makes free is free indeed.

MARY, DID YOU KNOW?

Date - December 19th, 2021 Topic - MARY, DID YOU KNOW? Bible Text - But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.” - Luke 1:30-31 If God had asked the women of Israel who wanted to be the mother of the Messiah, every one of them would have raised her hand. If they had known what that privilege would actually involve—becoming pregnant before marriage, enduring terrible gossip, watching helplessly as their Son was mocked, ridiculed, tortured and crucified—those hands would have come down in a hurry. Mary certainly didn’t volunteer for the job. And she was stunned to discover she’d been selected for such an important role. She handled the extraordinary situation with grace and humility. She asked one question to help her understand God’s plan, then agreed to it immediately. God has a plan for each of us. Ours may not be as earth-shattering as Mary’s. Ou...

THINKING GOD’S WAY

JULY 9TH – CAPSULE 9  TOPIC: THINKING GOD’S WAY  BIBLE TEXT: EPHESIANS 4VS23 – Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. How you process information and arrive at conclusions must always be subject to the will of God. Listen, “……….be made new in the attitude of your minds”. When you first start thinking Gods way, it will feel strange to you. It may even feel like a “put-on”. But it’s not. It works like this: you have to  (a). Practice being nice until you automatically become nice.  (b). Practice going to church on Sunday, until going anywhere else seems strange to you.  (c). Practice giving to God until it be comes as natural to you as shopping at the mall.  (d). Practice speaking the truth until even the smallest lie tastes bad in your mouth.  (e). Practice speaking kindness until every cynical, negative word is purged from your vocabulary. Its all a matter of practice! But you ask, “ isn’t that hypocritical – feeling one way and speaking an...

I Know Him

Date - January 25th, 2022 Topic - I Know Him Bible Tex t - Then [Jesus] asked them, “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”Matthew 16:15-16 How can people describe the ocean when they have not experienced it? How would they explain the waves that crash against the rocks or the shifting of the sand as the tide tugs at the shoreline? Are they able to put into words how the sand feels between their toes or describe the majesty of an endless blue horizon? Until they have taken a dip in the salty, white-frothed ocean, their descriptions would be limited. Perhaps that is why Jesus asked the disciples to define their faith in him on a personal level rather than rely on what others had to say about him. Jesus challenged them to base their definition of who he was on the reality of what they had seen, heard, and experienced about him.  Today, many stand in public platforms and attempt to define Jesus as a good man, a teach...
