PEACE WITHIN

DATE: OCTOBER 9, 2021

TOPIC: PEACE WITHIN

BIBLE TEXT: Philippians 4vs7 – And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

True peace is not common and cannot be obtained by excitements and activities of fun. The word God tells us, that the peace of God surpasses all understanding. The total concept of worldly knowledge and comprehension concerning peace here on earth cannot be equated with the peace God gives. From the scripture above we see that there are several channels of peace around the world and in heaven. But our concentration is on the one from God. When God gives peace it is permanent.

The word of God says in Isaiah 26vs3 – “Thou (The LORD God) wilt keep him (anyone who believes in the gospel of peace) in perfect peace (complete harmony and sanity), whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee”. The final note there states that the word trust must be involved in order for us to receive God’s peace. Do you lack peace? Are you seeking for the peace of God in your heart, family, marriage, relationship, career, education and destiny? Jesus is here this morning to give you peace within (your inner man) your days of sorrow and troubles are over when you let the prince of peace into your heart and soul.

Everywhere He went He was doing good and goodness is a soothing pill for the heart and souls of men. Jesus is waiting to touch you within, to hela your scars and pains.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I believe in Jesus Christ and desire the peace of God in my life. AMEN!

Insight: He gives peace within, if only you’ll believe.

MARY, DID YOU KNOW?

Date - December 19th, 2021 Topic - MARY, DID YOU KNOW? Bible Text - But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.” - Luke 1:30-31 If God had asked the women of Israel who wanted to be the mother of the Messiah, every one of them would have raised her hand. If they had known what that privilege would actually involve—becoming pregnant before marriage, enduring terrible gossip, watching helplessly as their Son was mocked, ridiculed, tortured and crucified—those hands would have come down in a hurry. Mary certainly didn’t volunteer for the job. And she was stunned to discover she’d been selected for such an important role. She handled the extraordinary situation with grace and humility. She asked one question to help her understand God’s plan, then agreed to it immediately. God has a plan for each of us. Ours may not be as earth-shattering as Mary’s. Ou...

THINKING GOD’S WAY

JULY 9TH – CAPSULE 9  TOPIC: THINKING GOD’S WAY  BIBLE TEXT: EPHESIANS 4VS23 – Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. How you process information and arrive at conclusions must always be subject to the will of God. Listen, “……….be made new in the attitude of your minds”. When you first start thinking Gods way, it will feel strange to you. It may even feel like a “put-on”. But it’s not. It works like this: you have to  (a). Practice being nice until you automatically become nice.  (b). Practice going to church on Sunday, until going anywhere else seems strange to you.  (c). Practice giving to God until it be comes as natural to you as shopping at the mall.  (d). Practice speaking the truth until even the smallest lie tastes bad in your mouth.  (e). Practice speaking kindness until every cynical, negative word is purged from your vocabulary. Its all a matter of practice! But you ask, “ isn’t that hypocritical – feeling one way and speaking an...

I Know Him

Date - January 25th, 2022 Topic - I Know Him Bible Tex t - Then [Jesus] asked them, “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”Matthew 16:15-16 How can people describe the ocean when they have not experienced it? How would they explain the waves that crash against the rocks or the shifting of the sand as the tide tugs at the shoreline? Are they able to put into words how the sand feels between their toes or describe the majesty of an endless blue horizon? Until they have taken a dip in the salty, white-frothed ocean, their descriptions would be limited. Perhaps that is why Jesus asked the disciples to define their faith in him on a personal level rather than rely on what others had to say about him. Jesus challenged them to base their definition of who he was on the reality of what they had seen, heard, and experienced about him.  Today, many stand in public platforms and attempt to define Jesus as a good man, a teach...
