REPLACE WORRY WITH FAITH

DATE: 15th OCTOBER, 2021

TOPIC: REPLACE WORRY WITH FAITH

BIBLE TEXT: Luke 12:6 TPT
"What is the value of your soul to God? Could your worth be defined by an amount of money? God doesn't abandon or forget even the small sparrow he has made. How then could he forget or abandon you? What about the seemingly minor issues of your life? Do they matter to God? Of course they do! So you never need to worry, for you are more valuable to God than anything else in this world.

Dearly beloveth, stop worrying over everything and anything. Worrying has never solved a problem but creates more problems if left unchecked. There is hope this morning as God's Word of truth and life reveals to us that God is so mindful of every one of His children in Christ Jesus. Yes! God has the figures of our hair strands to detail, much more we His children! Whenever we speak Faith, we take positive steps/actions that attracts the LORD'S attention. But the worry-filled heart will never get anything from the LORD.

Don't join the train of those who say it is impossible to stop worrying. It is only possible to stop worrying in Christ Jesus. And through Apostle Peter we were instructed on how to stop worrying and replace it with faith - 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your cares (throw all your concerns, responsibilities and close attention) upon him (i.e Jesus Christ), for He careth for you. This principle Simon Peter introduced to the church by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost is most effective when we obey. The word of God needs our "Yes, and I believe" for it's potency to be unveiled as God handles the rest.

Prayer - LORD Jesus forgive my thoughts of worries, from today I throw all my worries and cares over to you and I trust your response to my life and destiny.

Insight - Take a bold step today and give your cares to Christ because you are valuable to God.

Capsule One - (WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY?)

May 1st – Capsule 1 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY? BIBLE TEXT: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which easily beset us … Hebrews 12 vs. 1 You will start getting well when getting well is what matters most to you. Let your desperation drive you beyond concern about the opinions of others. As long as you are more conscious of people than you are of God, you will never get what you need. When Hannah, Samuel’s mother, prayed in the temple, there was so much locked inside her that when she began to pray and pour her heart out, Eli thought she was drunk (see 1 Samuel 1 vs. 13). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus. They had carefully laid plans, and cry like blind Bartimaeus, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10 vs. 47). When you are blind, all that matters is receiving your sight. When it looks like there’s no way out fo...

Sinner to Saint

Date 📅 20th October, 2022 Topic Sinner to Saint Living Scripture Romans 3:23 KJV For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; The journey of our convertion and transfiguration started when we decided to let go of our self and old ways and tune into the will of God by accepting Christ as Lord and Savior. Our Lord Jesus Christ is in the business of turning sinners to saints. Because of the fall of man from the beginning it was written that all mankind have sinned and come short of the supply of God's mighty glory. Which is why Christ Jesus died that we might be heirs and like heirs with Him in the kingdom of God. Without Jesus no one can be saved, all men without the knowledge and salvation of Christ are sinners. No man was born a saint, we are washed from stains, sins and disobedience into saints (children of God). The Bible is not full of men born as saints but rather men and women washed by the Blood of the Lamb of God and by the Word of God. Father Abrah...

DO TI NOW

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! Redeem the new moments of your life. Because the time and age ...
