TOPIC - THE SOURCE OF WISDOM 

BIBLE TEXT - I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes. - Psalm 119:99


In the Garden of Eden, the serpent—the devil—had a specific strategy for getting Adam and Eve to sin. Look at his words to Mrs Eve Adam in Genesis 3:1: “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” Notice how he tries to make Mrs Eve question God’s words. And when you question God's Word, you begin to doubt God.

Satan knew that whatever useful knowledge Adam and Eve possessed came from God. He knew that if he could plant doubts in their minds about God’s words, he stood a good chance of making them sin.  Yes! When you reject God's Word for Satan's tricks you've just called God a liar in that particular aspect of your life. Unfortunately, his strategy worked. In fact, it worked so well that he still uses it today amongst believers and unbelievers.

For us, the Bible is the source of wisdom. God’s Word helps us distinguish right from wrong and equips us to make the best choices for our lives. Naturally, then, that is Satan’s target. He tries to get us to doubt God’s Word and underestimate its importance. He tries to convince us that it’s boring or too hard to understand. Don't give room or pay attention to the devil.

The way to defend yourself against Satan’s attacks is to meditate on what the Bible says. And doing so day and night as the Lord instructed in Joshua 1:8. If you fill your mind with God’s wisdom, you will have the confidence to shoot down temptations and doubts. 


PRAYER
Dear God, thank you for giving us your wisdom in the pages of the Bible. Please bless our efforts to meditate on your Word and let it make a difference in our lives. Amen.

INSIGHT
Store up God's wisdom within by creating time to study your Bible and meditate on the Word of God.

Heaven

Date 📅 25th November, 2022 Topic Heaven (Trading Talents) Living Scripture Matthew 25:14 KJV For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. The Kingdom of Heaven was described by our Lord Jesus Christ in various descriptive narratives pointing out the hidden truth in several parables. Heaven contains important life lessons on the purpose of every child of God here on earth and finding it makes the will of God visible to us and achievable here on earth. This morning we see Heaven from the business man perspective, enriching and equipping His own servants with goods that are all profitable. Heaven is real and Christ Jesus only invest in His own servants. God doesn't bless a mess, He works with as many who believes in Christ Jesus His Son who died for the world. God instructs His Son to deposit into every child of His talents that will favor them, show that they are useful and can work with Heaven....

A mango tree starts from a seed planted in the soil, from a mango fruit. It usually takes weeks or sometimes days for the leaves to grow or sprout and then it takes years before it can produce those edible mango fruits which we all like to chew.
