TOPIC: Your Good Works

BIBLE TEXT: Matthew 5:16 TPT - So don't hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven."

The life of a believer must be an example to the world. As an ambassador for Christ we are sent into the world to show forth the Light of God. We must be representatives of God's goodness. Jesus Christ admonishes us in Matthew 5 after the sermon on the mount, to let our light so shine before men - many out there are confused and are in the dark about Heaven and the truth of God's word.

This is a wake up call to all sleeping believers, shy believers, inactive believers and psychedelic Christians. That Christ expects us to be His image to the people of the earth. We cannot shine and radiate God's glory by hiding ourselves or staying timid or confining ourselves to limitations. The world awaits our manifestation but the air is still silent. Many Christians seek role models in unbelievers when they should be the model of light that the community and world seeks.

We are the light of this world, spread abroad not to live out in pleasures or vanities but to be representatives and witnesses of our Lord Jesus Christ via our good works. The world is ready, let us carry Jesus everywhere and tell it to the world that the standard for living is in Christ the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Prayer - Heavenly Father, thank you for your light within my heart, help me to be a light to my generation in Jesus name.

Insight - Let your light shine so bright that God may be glorified through our good works.

Capsule One - (WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY?)

May 1st – Capsule 1 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY? BIBLE TEXT: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which easily beset us … Hebrews 12 vs. 1 You will start getting well when getting well is what matters most to you. Let your desperation drive you beyond concern about the opinions of others. As long as you are more conscious of people than you are of God, you will never get what you need. When Hannah, Samuel’s mother, prayed in the temple, there was so much locked inside her that when she began to pray and pour her heart out, Eli thought she was drunk (see 1 Samuel 1 vs. 13). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus. They had carefully laid plans, and cry like blind Bartimaeus, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10 vs. 47). When you are blind, all that matters is receiving your sight. When it looks like there’s no way out fo...

Sinner to Saint

Date 📅 20th October, 2022 Topic Sinner to Saint Living Scripture Romans 3:23 KJV For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; The journey of our convertion and transfiguration started when we decided to let go of our self and old ways and tune into the will of God by accepting Christ as Lord and Savior. Our Lord Jesus Christ is in the business of turning sinners to saints. Because of the fall of man from the beginning it was written that all mankind have sinned and come short of the supply of God's mighty glory. Which is why Christ Jesus died that we might be heirs and like heirs with Him in the kingdom of God. Without Jesus no one can be saved, all men without the knowledge and salvation of Christ are sinners. No man was born a saint, we are washed from stains, sins and disobedience into saints (children of God). The Bible is not full of men born as saints but rather men and women washed by the Blood of the Lamb of God and by the Word of God. Father Abrah...

DO TI NOW

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! Redeem the new moments of your life. Because the time and age ...
