Topic - GOD CARES ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIPS

Bible Text - The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” - Genesis 2:18

In this verse from early Genesis, God is just about to create Eve. God didn’t want Adam to be alone. See, even way back then, God was concerned about our loneliness. And he still is today. God doesn’t want us to be lonely—that’s why he gives us families and friends.

It’s healthy to spend some time alone. It’s healthy to spend some time alone with God. But we are not designed to spend all our time alone. God wants us working together, sharing one another’s tough times and triumphs.

There is tremendous power in fellowship. We are supposed to lift one another up, support one another and keep one another company. Relationships like this honor God.

If you are feeling lonely, talk to God about it. He does care. Ask him to send you friends to help you in life; ask him to help you strengthen your bonds within your family. He will.

PRAYER
Dear God, thank you for caring about us. Thank you for giving us friends and family to help us, support us and love us. Amen.

INSIGHT
God's will in our lives supersedes ours, let us therefore give room for His love and care in our lives.

Capsule One - (WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY?)

May 1st – Capsule 1 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY? BIBLE TEXT: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which easily beset us … Hebrews 12 vs. 1 You will start getting well when getting well is what matters most to you. Let your desperation drive you beyond concern about the opinions of others. As long as you are more conscious of people than you are of God, you will never get what you need. When Hannah, Samuel’s mother, prayed in the temple, there was so much locked inside her that when she began to pray and pour her heart out, Eli thought she was drunk (see 1 Samuel 1 vs. 13). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus. They had carefully laid plans, and cry like blind Bartimaeus, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10 vs. 47). When you are blind, all that matters is receiving your sight. When it looks like there’s no way out fo...

THE GRACE OF GOD

Date 📅 26th October, 2022 Topic The Grace of God Living Scripture 1 Corinthians 15:10 KJV But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. The grace of God is very important to everyone both saved and unsaved though as many as believe in Christ Jesus receives of the grace and truth at work in the Lord. This is what sustains us as children of God throughout our lifetime here on earth. God's grace for the world is general but limited and that for His children comes only in Christ Jesus, for as many that want to partake of this kind of grace must be born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit. This brought about the testimony of brother Saul turned Apostle Paul who testified to be the least of all the Apostles and disciples of Christ. He was a persecutor of the gospel a child of Abraham under the common grace but not under the g...
