TOPIC - Just Trust Me

BIBLE TEXT - She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched the fringe of his robe. For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his clothing, I will be healed.” Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel that she had been healed! . . . While he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from Jairus’s home with the message, “Your daughter is dead. There’s no use troubling the Teacher now.” But Jesus ignored their comments and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just trust me.”Mark 5:27-29, 35-36



In this amazing chapter of Mark’s Gospel we read of two miracles Jesus performed: the healing of the woman with a hemorrhage (Issue of blood) and the raising of Jairus’s daughter from the dead. The doctors had given up on the woman, taken all her money, and instead of healing her had left her worse than before. Yet with just the touch of her finger on Jesus’ robe, all the blood dried up and all the disease was gone from her body. Likewise, no one had hope for Jairus’s daughter; she had died, and the neighbors were already bringing food and mourning with the family. But one touch from Jesus raised her to new life.

But that happened way back in Bible days, we may think. It’s not relevant to my life today. On the contrary, the same power that went out through the hem of Jesus’ garment and through his words “Get up little girl!” is available to us today. God desires that through the Holy Spirit, we know and understand the unlimited, surpassing greatness of his power for us when we trust him. 

Voice your needs and cares to God, and then receive these words he speaks to you, his child, this day: “Don’t be afraid. Just trust me.”


PRAYER
Heavenly FATHER, I praise you that the same power that raised Jairus’s daughter from the dead, healed the woman with a hemorrhage (Issue of blood), and raised Jesus from the dead is available to us through your Spirit! 

• Open the eyes of my heart to see, know, understand, and believe in the working of your power in and for us who believe.

INSIGHT
God has in himself all power to defend you, all wisdom to direct you, all mercy to pardon you, all grace to enrich you.

Heaven

Date 📅 25th November, 2022 Topic Heaven (Trading Talents) Living Scripture Matthew 25:14 KJV For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. The Kingdom of Heaven was described by our Lord Jesus Christ in various descriptive narratives pointing out the hidden truth in several parables. Heaven contains important life lessons on the purpose of every child of God here on earth and finding it makes the will of God visible to us and achievable here on earth. This morning we see Heaven from the business man perspective, enriching and equipping His own servants with goods that are all profitable. Heaven is real and Christ Jesus only invest in His own servants. God doesn't bless a mess, He works with as many who believes in Christ Jesus His Son who died for the world. God instructs His Son to deposit into every child of His talents that will favor them, show that they are useful and can work with Heaven....
