Be Patient

DATE - 21st April, 2022

TOPIC - Be Patient

BIBLE TEXT - James 5:7 KJV
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

When the Son of man (Jesus Christ) comes (returns) will He find faith here on earth? (Luke 18:8b) This question reveals how so many saints on the last day will be found wanting for their lack of patience and faith in the Lord. We are instructed to be patient with an expectation of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our patience must be carried along with righteous expectations/desires as the scripture says - Proverbs 10:24b KJV ..but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. Yes! God will grant our righteous desires as we wait on Him daily.

The most beautiful and lasting relationships takes a lot of time. To trust takes time. To raise a solid foundation takes time. To be a mature Christian takes time. Before you manifest in the office of your calling it takes time. Before the vision manifest fully, it takes time. Though we are called children of the Most High God but only those who faithfully and patiently wait on the promises of God shall be crowned as the Sons of God. David was anointed as the King of Israel by prophet Samuel when he was a teenager but didn't jump to be the king immediately. The Bible says he behaved himself wisely (1Samuel 18:19) and at the age of 30 he became the king of Judah before he sat as king over Israel at age 37.

Will you wait for the second coming of our savior Jesus? If you will then have this in mind and heart while you wait - Heaven is real! Don't get distracted by those in love with the pleasures and beauties of this world. They are only temporal. Don't let temporal things take away your eternity in Christ Jesus! Wait patiently and faithfully.

PRAYER
Lord Jesus, help me to wait on you with righteous expectations of your second coming. I long to see you in the beauty of your holiness.

MARY, DID YOU KNOW?

Date - December 19th, 2021 Topic - MARY, DID YOU KNOW? Bible Text - But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.” - Luke 1:30-31 If God had asked the women of Israel who wanted to be the mother of the Messiah, every one of them would have raised her hand. If they had known what that privilege would actually involve—becoming pregnant before marriage, enduring terrible gossip, watching helplessly as their Son was mocked, ridiculed, tortured and crucified—those hands would have come down in a hurry. Mary certainly didn’t volunteer for the job. And she was stunned to discover she’d been selected for such an important role. She handled the extraordinary situation with grace and humility. She asked one question to help her understand God’s plan, then agreed to it immediately. God has a plan for each of us. Ours may not be as earth-shattering as Mary’s. Ou...

NOW

Date đŸ“… 18th October, 2022 Topic NOW Living Scripture Hebrews 11:1,7 KJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [7] By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Now we begin to walk in the ways of faith and truth as our fathers in faith and mighty men of old and just as they witnessed the glory of God first hand so shall we if we act now. The perfect example is Noah and the ark, a man of grace and wisdom. The world was stained with disobedience, sinful ways and thick immoralities. And God decided to wipe the inhabitants of the earth with a great flood such as have never been before and even after. The heavens where ready to open the flood gates and the earth to let out her waters. When God spoke to Noah, he acted immediately and finished the ark on time and he eva...

DO TI NOW

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! Redeem the new moments of your life. Because the time and age ...
