Boundless Love

TOPIC - Boundless Love

BIBLE TEXT - God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. - John 3:16-17

It is a marvelous and profound truth that although God loves the whole world generally, he also loves us personally and individually so much that Christ died for each of us as if there were only one of us. Because of his love for us, he poured out his life on the cross while we were still sinners. He didn’t wait for us to get our lives all cleaned up and fixed up first—we couldn’t have anyway. Instead, he demonstrated his grace in saving us even though we didn’t deserve it.

That would be amazing enough, yet this gift of love isn’t for just a few. It has no bounds because it is not a thing but a facet of the essential nature of God. His love is something he is, and because he is infinite, that love can enfold the whole created world in itself and have room for ten thousand times ten thousand worlds beside.

It’s not just for me or a select group of people, for those in particular families, denominations, or nationalities—but for those from every tribe and tongue, people, group, and nation. We can hardly conceive of such a limitless, boundless love! But we can rejoice in the truth of John 3:16—everyone who believes in Jesus Christ will not perish but will have eternal life.

PRAYER
FATHER, thank you for loving me even beyond what I could ever imagine. It amazes me that you would love me—even when I didn’t love you—and would send your Son to pay the ultimate price so that I could know you and experience eternal life. Let your love flow through me so that even more people may experience your boundless love.

INSIGHT
God’s love is measureless. It is more: it is boundless.

NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH

Date - December 28th, 2021 Topic - NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH Bible Text - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 Your parents love you. You may be able to do something that makes them angry, but you will never be able to do anything that makes them stop loving you. Try to imagine this kind of love and then multiply it by infinity. That’s the love that Jesus has for you. That’s the love that God has for you. God made you. He loved you enough to create you. He loved you enough to give you free will. Then he loved you enough to give you his Son. He loved you enough to forgive you for turning away from him. This is an impossible love! This is a love that we may never understand. But we don’t have to understand it. We just have to a...

Breakfast with Jesus

DATE 24th June, 2023 TOPIC Breakfast with Jesus LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 65:4 KJV Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. The Psalmist was a peculiar man and one that feared the LORD and walked in the paths of righteousness. In his meditation and Psalms, he learnt to dine with Jesus Christ early and through Psalms, from the 63rd to the 66th, he found a way to breakfast with Jesus. The first contact we should have everyday is Jesus Christ, to receive of His glorious satisfaction early, contentment and to be filled with the goodness and mercy He gives His children daily. When a child eats with his parents there's that joy and peace within, such comfort and full assurance. Jesus Christ always ate with our Heavenly Father while He was here on earth, He sought after the LORD daily and was satisfied with the glory and goodness of the Father. Each...

Forgiveness of Sins

DATE - April 7th, 2022 TOPIC - Forgiveness of Sins BIBLE TEXT - Acts 5:31 AMP God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior and Deliverer, in order to grant repentance to Israel, and [to grant] forgiveness of sins. Apostle Peter stood tall before the council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) to speak with boldness about a God who Saves and sets free any sinner from the power of sin. As a man who has been shown mercy though a man once filled with sinful ways, the Holy Spirit quickened him through his personal testimony of experiencing true forgiveness of sins before the Jewish High Court. Peter was a local fisherman with no knowledge of the gospel truth, who lived as he pleased. Until he encountered Jesus when Christ was walking by the sea of Galilee and he spotted Simon Peter who was in his boat struggling to catch a few fishes for days. Like many out there today who are living in sin and still struggling to make ends meet, Jesus is passing through that street, area...
