Daniel 9:2-3 KJV
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. [3] And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: (Study the Whole Chapter)



Daniel was a man with true hunger for the truth of God's Word. He laboured often in prayers for the revelation of the Word because it is wrapped in parables. His hunger led to an encounter which brought great impact. In the previous chapter Daniel had an encounter he could not recover from which brought about this hunger to understand the mysteries hidden in the Bible. Now we see why Apostle Paul achieved more because he laboured in prayers not the kind of prayer to kill an enemy which is most common today, but a prayer to understand the secrets and moves of God for us.

Ephesians 1:17 KJV
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Many children of God are too busy always killing the enemy in prayers that they forget that Christianity is a relationship. Daniel hungered for the Lord not to slay anyone, Apostle Paul hungered for depths of kingdom truths that's why Heavenly mysteries were opened up to him, which he testified in:
2 Corinthians 12:1-2 KJV
It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. [2] I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

When we engage into the Daniel's Prayer habit we'll get to understand and know more about Jesus Christ the Son of God through the Holy Spirit. God is willing to reveal Himself if only we seek Him and not for His hands alone but for His heart.



PRAYERS
• Heavenly Father, I need you, please open my eyes to witness more of you, deeper than I've ever known before.
• I receive Grace for Greater Growth to access Kingdom truths as I study your word in Jesus name.
• Lord one thing I desire is to behold your Presence and understand you more.


INSIGHT
God seeks true worshippers, and only those who hunger shall be filled and those who seek that shall find.
