Psalm 63:1 KJV
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; (Study the Whole Chapter)



CAPSULE:
This wonderful text of scripture was written by King David from the depths of his heart as he sought after the Almighty God. His heart was hungry to know more of God, the testimonies of what the LORD did triggered more hunger in him to rise up early daily just to seek after the one true God. When other young men were chasing shadows, wealth, ambition, ladies and slumbering, David was seeking God.

As children of the LORD we need to develop a hunger for God, learn to spend time with God. Take out time to know this Wonderful Wonder. King David said "my soul thirst for thee, my flesh longs for thee" - this is a sign of total surrender of both his soul and body, that many have abused theirs and are carnal about. David gave his own to the LORD. Let your whole being seek the LORD, not just your heart, and mouth - God deserves everything that makes you a living creature. David's lips praised God and shun idle talks, his hands were lifted up in the name of Jesus Christ and not to steal or do evil.

This Psalm is a chapter of true worship in Spirit and in truth - such as the LORD desires. Let us set our hearts, our souls and bodies on Jesus Christ this morning and every other days of our lives. Seeking the Lord is not just a one time affair but an everlasting relationship and love eternal. Jesus gave us His Spirit to work with, making it easy and accessible to worship our Father in Heaven.
