Taking Your Track

Topic
Taking Your Track

Bible Text:
Hebrews 12:1 KJV
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

A race is a progressive movement towards a goal. And each athlete must take their track before the race starts and must maintain their track to the finish line. Apostle Paul led by the Spirit of Christ taught the church with this example, teaching believers the way to start life's journey, ministry, marriage, business and any call of life is to take your track. The similarities between a race track and pursuing ones goal in life reveals so much to us if truly we want to finish well.

We need to discover our track, what field of life am I called into? - this question will help you discover & see your track. After realizing it, you have to take your track because no one can run your race for you. God has designed a pattern of living which we must fit into for our fulfilment and exploits. In a real racing event, we often see huge spectators cheering for those participating in the race which often motivates the athletes and boost their morals. So it is in the spirit, we have a positive cloud of Heavenly victorious witnesses (men and women who ran their course and finished well) they are cheering for us.

Let's take our track on time, concentrate on the finish line, it's not everyone that run that receives the prize but our case is that of winners, victors and champions. We shall finish well when we take this to heart:
Hebrews 12:2 KJV
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

PRAYERS
• Heavenly Father, please guide me by the Holy Spirit to discover my track in life that fits into your perfect will for my life.
• I take my track and I receive God's Grace to run my course without distractions.
• I increase in faith in Christ Jesus by looking up to Him the Author and the finisher of my faith.
• I am a winner and a heavenly champion.

INSIGHT
Take your track on time, because time is a reminder of all we have done here on earth. No one will take your track for you! No one!

DO TI NOW

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! Redeem the new moments of your life. Because the time and age ...

Capsule One - (WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY?)

May 1st – Capsule 1 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY? BIBLE TEXT: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which easily beset us … Hebrews 12 vs. 1 You will start getting well when getting well is what matters most to you. Let your desperation drive you beyond concern about the opinions of others. As long as you are more conscious of people than you are of God, you will never get what you need. When Hannah, Samuel’s mother, prayed in the temple, there was so much locked inside her that when she began to pray and pour her heart out, Eli thought she was drunk (see 1 Samuel 1 vs. 13). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus. They had carefully laid plans, and cry like blind Bartimaeus, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10 vs. 47). When you are blind, all that matters is receiving your sight. When it looks like there’s no way out fo...

NOW

Date 📅 18th October, 2022 Topic NOW Living Scripture Hebrews 11:1,7 KJV Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [7] By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Now we begin to walk in the ways of faith and truth as our fathers in faith and mighty men of old and just as they witnessed the glory of God first hand so shall we if we act now. The perfect example is Noah and the ark, a man of grace and wisdom. The world was stained with disobedience, sinful ways and thick immoralities. And God decided to wipe the inhabitants of the earth with a great flood such as have never been before and even after. The heavens where ready to open the flood gates and the earth to let out her waters. When God spoke to Noah, he acted immediately and finished the ark on time and he eva...
