Psalm 29:1-2 KJV
Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength. [2] Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.


The psalmist spent most of His fellowship and worship in thanksgiving, he developed the art of worship with instruments of grace. King David was a radical thanksgiver, he never stopped glorifying the Lord, he acknowledged that it was God who brought him out from the bush and took him to the throne of Judah and Israel. He gave God his best and God made him most blessed. Every true worshipper here on earth must search deeply to give to God what is due!

As children of God, what have we given to the LORD? Our money is not enough, material things can't equate to His greatness. Jesus Christ taught his sheep that our love, strength, soul and all that makes us who we are should be unto the LORD. God is the reason Christ Jesus came down to earth to die for our sins, the reason we are alive and have breath, the reason we look beautiful and handsome, the reason we have seed time and harvest, the Sun, the Moon and other celestial bodies. Knowing all these and more made the Psalmist to teach his beloved the way to thank the Almighty God. And He sang..
