Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.



The nature of God and ways are perfect, He doesn't bend for anyone or anything. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Perfect when it comes to holiness, faithful to all who seeks Him. Indeed our God is a perfect example of a model design our hearts should be constructed after. Many think it's impossible to be perfect in heart and deny themselves the privilege of serving the Lord in faith that pleases our Heavenly Father.

Adam was the first man and he was perfect before the LORD until his disobedience and fall. But that was not the end of maturity, men of old, Noah served God in a time of disobedience and deep sin, Father Abraham was perfect in service, King David, Daniel, and until the time of Jesus Christ. He pleased God with His life even to the cross. Perfect in worship, perfect in forgiveness, perfect in love, perfect in giving. It's an unending list of Godly perfection. 

The Church today is modeled after Christ, and the results are priceless as men began to walk in spiritual and physical maturity (perfection). Let us work out our salvation, righteousness and service with Godly fear and trembling. This is a reasonable service and worship to God. Don't settle for fear or doubts but grow in the spirit and physically in Christ Jesus.
