Topic
Stuck Between Two Opinions?

Living Scripture
1 Kings 18:21 KJV
And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Our Lord Jesus Christ taught in the Holy scripture that our focus and concentration should be on God the Heavenly Father and He said also in Matthew 6:22 KJV -The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. The children of Israel were confused of whom to worship because of their lusts and unstable heart's conditions. They belonged to God the Most High but their eyes and hearts where far from God. No one can divide his or her vision to concentrate on two opinions when it comes to worship.

Many believers today want to be called christians and still be free to serve other things such as cultural beliefs tied to idolatry, traditional heritages with the bonds of false gods and goddesses and various ancestral patterns. Many dedicate their children to a shrine and say it's still okay to dedicate also unto God. Such attitude is a sign of confusion and such individuals are stuck between two opinions. Elijah the prophet of God was singled out of four hundred and fifty Baal prophets in the land of Israel. These were children of God turned into slaves of false gods and how misleading their actions were until God's wrath fell on them.

This morning we are to decide to which platform to stand on: it's either on the LORD'S side giving Him all our hearts and mind and soul or total concentration on the ways of our forefathers and ancestors. Joshua spoke boldly to the children of God and to everyone of a listening ear and heart - Joshua 24:15 KJV - And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. The ball is in your court, choose wisely.

Declaration - I (name & family) boldly declare, we shall serve the Lord God of Heaven and the Earth and only Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH

Date - December 28th, 2021 Topic - NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH Bible Text - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 Your parents love you. You may be able to do something that makes them angry, but you will never be able to do anything that makes them stop loving you. Try to imagine this kind of love and then multiply it by infinity. That’s the love that Jesus has for you. That’s the love that God has for you. God made you. He loved you enough to create you. He loved you enough to give you free will. Then he loved you enough to give you his Son. He loved you enough to forgive you for turning away from him. This is an impossible love! This is a love that we may never understand. But we don’t have to understand it. We just have to a...

Breakfast with Jesus

DATE 24th June, 2023 TOPIC Breakfast with Jesus LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 65:4 KJV Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. The Psalmist was a peculiar man and one that feared the LORD and walked in the paths of righteousness. In his meditation and Psalms, he learnt to dine with Jesus Christ early and through Psalms, from the 63rd to the 66th, he found a way to breakfast with Jesus. The first contact we should have everyday is Jesus Christ, to receive of His glorious satisfaction early, contentment and to be filled with the goodness and mercy He gives His children daily. When a child eats with his parents there's that joy and peace within, such comfort and full assurance. Jesus Christ always ate with our Heavenly Father while He was here on earth, He sought after the LORD daily and was satisfied with the glory and goodness of the Father. Each...

Forgiveness of Sins

DATE - April 7th, 2022 TOPIC - Forgiveness of Sins BIBLE TEXT - Acts 5:31 AMP God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior and Deliverer, in order to grant repentance to Israel, and [to grant] forgiveness of sins. Apostle Peter stood tall before the council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) to speak with boldness about a God who Saves and sets free any sinner from the power of sin. As a man who has been shown mercy though a man once filled with sinful ways, the Holy Spirit quickened him through his personal testimony of experiencing true forgiveness of sins before the Jewish High Court. Peter was a local fisherman with no knowledge of the gospel truth, who lived as he pleased. Until he encountered Jesus when Christ was walking by the sea of Galilee and he spotted Simon Peter who was in his boat struggling to catch a few fishes for days. Like many out there today who are living in sin and still struggling to make ends meet, Jesus is passing through that street, area...
