TOPIC
Your Cross

LIVING SCRIPTURE
Luke 9:23 KJV
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

The christian race needs total concentration and each believer must take their track. No one can run your race for you neither can they carry your cross for you. Your Cross is your portion in the journey of life and only true christians finish well with theirs. Our Lord Jesus Christ taught the people and as many that will believe in Him the importance of the cross. He puts it as a choice before us; if any man will follow me, let him deny the flesh (carnal desires and strong lust) and take his or her portion of assignments and tasks everyday and follow in (Christ's) footsteps.

Your Cross as a believer requires determination, because a little distraction can lead to failure and losing direction. Demas was serving under Apostle Paul but after a while, he went astray - 2 Timothy 4:10 KJV - For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. Demas left his cross of service as many children of God are doing today. There's a reward for those who finish well, this shows those who truly accept the will of God the Father. And also judgement for those who reject the cross (will) of the Father.

When you carry your cross, you are following the perfect will of God. But any man that refuses to take their cross or gives up along the way, such man has nothing to submit to the LORD on that final day. It is important to take up your cross, know the will of God for your life and follow Jesus everyday, that's how to scale through and find strength to finish well. Jesus took His cross - that contained the weight of the world and by so doing we have access to the grace and glory of God.

PRAYER CAPSULE
• Heavenly Father I need your grace and mercy, please help me to discover my cross in Jesus name
• O LORD I am determined to take up my cross and follow you everyday of my life.
• I shall not be distracted by the way and I shall not drop my cross in Jesus name.
• I shall not derail from the path of righteousness in Jesus name.

WORSHIP - One Day At A Time

I'm only human, I'm just a woman.
Help me believe in what I could be
And all that I am.
Show me the stairway, I have to climb.
Lord for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.

Chorus:
One day at a time sweet Jesus
That's all I'm asking from you.
Just give me the strength
To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way
One day at a time.

Do you remember, when you walked among men?
Well Jesus you know if you're looking below
It's worse now, than then.
Cheating and stealing, violence and crime
So for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.

(Chorus)

NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH

Date - December 28th, 2021 Topic - NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH Bible Text - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 Your parents love you. You may be able to do something that makes them angry, but you will never be able to do anything that makes them stop loving you. Try to imagine this kind of love and then multiply it by infinity. That’s the love that Jesus has for you. That’s the love that God has for you. God made you. He loved you enough to create you. He loved you enough to give you free will. Then he loved you enough to give you his Son. He loved you enough to forgive you for turning away from him. This is an impossible love! This is a love that we may never understand. But we don’t have to understand it. We just have to a...

Breakfast with Jesus

DATE 24th June, 2023 TOPIC Breakfast with Jesus LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 65:4 KJV Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. The Psalmist was a peculiar man and one that feared the LORD and walked in the paths of righteousness. In his meditation and Psalms, he learnt to dine with Jesus Christ early and through Psalms, from the 63rd to the 66th, he found a way to breakfast with Jesus. The first contact we should have everyday is Jesus Christ, to receive of His glorious satisfaction early, contentment and to be filled with the goodness and mercy He gives His children daily. When a child eats with his parents there's that joy and peace within, such comfort and full assurance. Jesus Christ always ate with our Heavenly Father while He was here on earth, He sought after the LORD daily and was satisfied with the glory and goodness of the Father. Each...

Forgiveness of Sins

DATE - April 7th, 2022 TOPIC - Forgiveness of Sins BIBLE TEXT - Acts 5:31 AMP God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior and Deliverer, in order to grant repentance to Israel, and [to grant] forgiveness of sins. Apostle Peter stood tall before the council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) to speak with boldness about a God who Saves and sets free any sinner from the power of sin. As a man who has been shown mercy though a man once filled with sinful ways, the Holy Spirit quickened him through his personal testimony of experiencing true forgiveness of sins before the Jewish High Court. Peter was a local fisherman with no knowledge of the gospel truth, who lived as he pleased. Until he encountered Jesus when Christ was walking by the sea of Galilee and he spotted Simon Peter who was in his boat struggling to catch a few fishes for days. Like many out there today who are living in sin and still struggling to make ends meet, Jesus is passing through that street, area...
