Living Scripture 
James 5:10-11 KJV
Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. [11] Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.



Job was a man of godly patience and righteousness, he loved and feared the LORD with his life. He served the LORD and kept His words, though he went through a vigorous exercise of faith, yet he remained in patience, eagerly waiting for the Lord alone to take control. The patience of Job cannot be physically measured, it is seen as a testimony of his commitments and loyalty to the will of God. As children of God we need to live by such godly example as Job did, his actions placed the devil (the accuser of the brethren) in total shame and frustration. We are capable of being pure ambassadors of Christ through godly virtues we possess in us by the Holy Spirit.

God is the most patient of all and likewise Christ Jesus with us despite our misbehaviors and errors. Christ was very patient with His disciples and He is still very patient with us in accordance to the will of God the Father. Without patience we'll never see or witness the best or the good in people nor will they see the light of God in us. Christ waited patiently for Peter to fully understand what it meant to be a Fisher of men and a pillar in the church. Let's brace ourselves up and live a sanctified life full of faith and godly patience that will bring about testimonies and win souls unto the LORD.

• Lord Jesus Christ help me to prosper by the fruits of the Spirit, and in patience.
• Dear Father teach me your ways in patience by your Word and Holy Spirit.

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Inside Jesus Christ the Lamb of God is where we must dwell.
