Romans 4:19-20 KJV
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: [20] He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;



He lived by divine assistance in a time when his situation presented a sour taste. Abraham began to walk with God from the age of 75 with his wife Sarah Abraham while holding on to the promises of God as they moved on. At the time it was not easy serving God nor trusting or holding on to Him. Idolatry was very common and strange gods ruled the affairs of men without the knowledge of God. But Abraham was like a dot of righteousness in the midst of 99% of a world filled with people who are living comfortably in sin. He was divinely assisted because he believed in the voice of the LORD and held on to the word of God.

His testimony was born out of faith which is the divine assistance needed to bring about the required manifestations. Without faith in Christ Jesus there's no way a believer can access or please the LORD. When we need help like the Psalmist testifies, our help comes from the LORD the maker of the Heavens and the earth and we are to look up to Jesus Christ the author (the writer of our story and future) and the finisher (the one who completes us in all ramifications) of our faith. 

Are you born again (born into Christ Jesus?) Do you need help or assistance? Have faith in the Lord and believe in His word and you'll receive a divine assistance. You can confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and experience the glory of God. God bless you.

• Heavenly Father I thank you for your constant assistance in my life through your words and voice 

• Dear Holy Spirit, I need your constant divine assistance everyday of my life.
