2 Corinthians 4:5-6 KJV
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. [6] For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.



The Gospel of Christ is the truth we are sent to preach and teach and to live by, but many preach about themselves and their stories than our Lord Jesus. Apostle Paul had history but he never preached Paul, he preached and proclaimed Christ Jesus the Son of the living God. It is the gospel that saves and sustains all who believes in Christ. Many believers today carry stories of men and old fables more than the truth of God's Son and the Kingdom of Heaven. It is sad that many believers today don't even know what the Kingdom of Heaven is about! The world is filled with men wanting to model their lives according to men and not after the ways of Christ. The whole twist has turned men's hearts away from Christ Jesus to mortal men, leading to lots of heartaches whenever they disappoint God. Every great Minister of the Gospel of Christ had an encounter with Jesus through the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. And this is the model that we should seek after, that is Jesus Christ.

Only when we look up to Christ Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, in the lives of men and women of God walking in righteousness and not self glory, then can we truly see the light of His glory. The Apostles of Christ and faith built a foundation of pure Gospel and it saved many, it's okay to share our testimony but Christ Jesus should be at the center of it all. Without Christ Jesus at the center of everything men will fail God and walk like the pharisees. The church and streets need the truth of the Gospel of Christ, preach it, teach it and be a living testimony of it.


PRAYER CAPSULE
• Heavenly Father I choose to talk about Jesus Christ but I need the knowledge and understanding of whom He is.

• O LORD let your truth be revealed to world.
