TOPIC
Forgive (The Way of Peace)

LIVING SCRIPTURE
Mark 11:25-26 KJV
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

[26] But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Forgiveness helps a believer in so many ways, when we forgive scripturally which is the only recommended way, we find peace first with God then with ourselves and our neighbors. When someone offends us, it's okay to be annoyed or feel angry or upset in the moment but it should not linger on in our hearts and minds. We need to forgive them whether they apologize or not. Knowing that forgiveness helps us more that have found a way of peace in Christ Jesus which cannot be found anywhere else.

Jesus Christ teaches in the book of Mark 11 a common hinderance to our speaking power and praying power. When we speak as children of God we should possess God's speaking authority but when we fail to forgive we lack the power of God, likewise when we pray, we should possess our decrees but are often hindered. Let's break free from unforgiveness and let love reign in us. Jesus Christ would have chosen to be offended by John the Baptist but rather He spoke well of him and testified of how great he was.

We have a choice this morning, to either forgive and let go of all offenses or stay hindered and limited. Remember those who fail to forgive have lost contact with God's mercy and such is not welcome in the Kingdom of God. Let's live and teach forgiveness in the way of peace.

TO-DO
Search your hearts and minds and see who you kept there by offense and by the grace of God forgive them in Jesus name.

PRAYERS
Heavenly Father I thank you for your word this morning on forgiveness, please help me to let go and be more like you.

Lord Jesus Christ I no longer want to limit my speaking power and praying power, increase my faith in Jesus name.

NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH

Date - December 28th, 2021 Topic - NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH Bible Text - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 Your parents love you. You may be able to do something that makes them angry, but you will never be able to do anything that makes them stop loving you. Try to imagine this kind of love and then multiply it by infinity. That’s the love that Jesus has for you. That’s the love that God has for you. God made you. He loved you enough to create you. He loved you enough to give you free will. Then he loved you enough to give you his Son. He loved you enough to forgive you for turning away from him. This is an impossible love! This is a love that we may never understand. But we don’t have to understand it. We just have to a...

Breakfast with Jesus

DATE 24th June, 2023 TOPIC Breakfast with Jesus LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 65:4 KJV Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. The Psalmist was a peculiar man and one that feared the LORD and walked in the paths of righteousness. In his meditation and Psalms, he learnt to dine with Jesus Christ early and through Psalms, from the 63rd to the 66th, he found a way to breakfast with Jesus. The first contact we should have everyday is Jesus Christ, to receive of His glorious satisfaction early, contentment and to be filled with the goodness and mercy He gives His children daily. When a child eats with his parents there's that joy and peace within, such comfort and full assurance. Jesus Christ always ate with our Heavenly Father while He was here on earth, He sought after the LORD daily and was satisfied with the glory and goodness of the Father. Each...

Forgiveness of Sins

DATE - April 7th, 2022 TOPIC - Forgiveness of Sins BIBLE TEXT - Acts 5:31 AMP God exalted Him to His right hand as Prince and Savior and Deliverer, in order to grant repentance to Israel, and [to grant] forgiveness of sins. Apostle Peter stood tall before the council (Sanhedrin, Jewish High Court) to speak with boldness about a God who Saves and sets free any sinner from the power of sin. As a man who has been shown mercy though a man once filled with sinful ways, the Holy Spirit quickened him through his personal testimony of experiencing true forgiveness of sins before the Jewish High Court. Peter was a local fisherman with no knowledge of the gospel truth, who lived as he pleased. Until he encountered Jesus when Christ was walking by the sea of Galilee and he spotted Simon Peter who was in his boat struggling to catch a few fishes for days. Like many out there today who are living in sin and still struggling to make ends meet, Jesus is passing through that street, area...
