TOPIC
The Seed of Forgiveness

LIVING SCRIPTURE
Genesis 45:4 KJV
And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.

The life of Joseph the son of Jacob in the light of forgiveness comes to our hearts this morning. Born into a polygamous family, and the eleventh son was enough excuse for him to feel little, unappreciated and unrecognized in the family. But all these carnal thoughts and ways never affected him, rather he gave himself to diligence, study, wisdom and the fear of God. Joseph had in him the seed of forgiveness, we see this several times in the book of Genesis, when he was despised, hated and envied by his brothers for being a true child of God.

His brothers connived together to kill him but God's mercy made them to sell him to the Ishmaelite slave traders who sold him to Mr Potiphar. He was seduced and betrayed by Mrs Potiphar and sent to prison. In the prison his heart was not heavy or down because of his sufferings but was rather open to notice the heaviness of two other inmate. It takes a soul that has found Jesus Christ from within to truly show care and kindness to another despite the situation or circumstance. Through his kind act the cup bearer was restored and after a while Joseph was established by God over all the people in the land of Egypt and other nations even his brethren, Mrs Potiphar and all that hurt and wrong him.

The anchor scripture reveals how Joseph warmly forgave and embraced his brethren, not imputing their sins nor regarding the hurts. Likewise our Lord Jesus Christ whom we serve forgave and forgives and will still forgive a repentant soul. Jesus Christ is the farmer this morning with the seed of forgiveness, going from heart to heart, mind to mind dropping this virtue into His children. Will you accept to walk in the way of the LORD?

TO-DO
Let go of all bitterness, hatred, anger, malice, discord and disputes, and seek for the seed of forgiveness that grows by the grace and mercy of God.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father I thank you for forgiving my sins, please help me to forgive all in Jesus name.

Capsule One - (WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY?)

May 1st – Capsule 1 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY? BIBLE TEXT: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which easily beset us … Hebrews 12 vs. 1 You will start getting well when getting well is what matters most to you. Let your desperation drive you beyond concern about the opinions of others. As long as you are more conscious of people than you are of God, you will never get what you need. When Hannah, Samuel’s mother, prayed in the temple, there was so much locked inside her that when she began to pray and pour her heart out, Eli thought she was drunk (see 1 Samuel 1 vs. 13). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus. They had carefully laid plans, and cry like blind Bartimaeus, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10 vs. 47). When you are blind, all that matters is receiving your sight. When it looks like there’s no way out fo...

DO TI NOW

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! Redeem the new moments of your life. Because the time and age ...

Sinner to Saint

Date 📅 20th October, 2022 Topic Sinner to Saint Living Scripture Romans 3:23 KJV For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; The journey of our convertion and transfiguration started when we decided to let go of our self and old ways and tune into the will of God by accepting Christ as Lord and Savior. Our Lord Jesus Christ is in the business of turning sinners to saints. Because of the fall of man from the beginning it was written that all mankind have sinned and come short of the supply of God's mighty glory. Which is why Christ Jesus died that we might be heirs and like heirs with Him in the kingdom of God. Without Jesus no one can be saved, all men without the knowledge and salvation of Christ are sinners. No man was born a saint, we are washed from stains, sins and disobedience into saints (children of God). The Bible is not full of men born as saints but rather men and women washed by the Blood of the Lamb of God and by the Word of God. Father Abrah...
