TOPIC
Understanding the Grace of God

LIVING SCRIPTURE
1 Corinthians 15:9-10 KJV
For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
[10] But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

The grace of God came via the Son of God and we see this truth in the book of John 1:17 KJV
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. We must understand this truth that the grace we enjoy today is as result of our Lord Jesus entrance into the mortal realm to make a way for us through impossible channels of life. This truth of the unlimited ever-flowing grace of God came to God's children who believe in Him as Lord and Savior.

We see Apostle Paul's testimony in the anchor scripture about his rise into the men of impact and deeds amongst the elect of God. He testifies of his achievements in Christ Jesus and not of his prowess because he understood to an extent the reason he succeeded that much. We must be consciously conscious of the this truth to avoid pride setting in and make us speak folly. He boldly declared that he is what we see him as by the "grace" of God. This was his sustainance, energy, trust, dependence and focus. Several times he leaned on the grace of God as seen in (2Cor..12) where the Lord made him understand more that grace is sufficient. His life revolved around the grace of God knowing that Christ Jesus has done all the major work and the laying on of the foundation that we are enjoying and building upon.

This morning let us seek to understand the workings of the grace of God in our lives, homes and endeavors. When we grasp the knowledge, understanding of the grace of God then the ability to express it in godly wisdom will set in. Seek to be sustained by the everlasting grace of God.

TO-DO
Seek more of the sufficient grace of God and utilize it by wisdom. (Speak wisely..)

MARY, DID YOU KNOW?

Date - December 19th, 2021 Topic - MARY, DID YOU KNOW? Bible Text - But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.” - Luke 1:30-31 If God had asked the women of Israel who wanted to be the mother of the Messiah, every one of them would have raised her hand. If they had known what that privilege would actually involve—becoming pregnant before marriage, enduring terrible gossip, watching helplessly as their Son was mocked, ridiculed, tortured and crucified—those hands would have come down in a hurry. Mary certainly didn’t volunteer for the job. And she was stunned to discover she’d been selected for such an important role. She handled the extraordinary situation with grace and humility. She asked one question to help her understand God’s plan, then agreed to it immediately. God has a plan for each of us. Ours may not be as earth-shattering as Mary’s. Ou...

I Know Him

Date - January 25th, 2022 Topic - I Know Him Bible Tex t - Then [Jesus] asked them, “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”Matthew 16:15-16 How can people describe the ocean when they have not experienced it? How would they explain the waves that crash against the rocks or the shifting of the sand as the tide tugs at the shoreline? Are they able to put into words how the sand feels between their toes or describe the majesty of an endless blue horizon? Until they have taken a dip in the salty, white-frothed ocean, their descriptions would be limited. Perhaps that is why Jesus asked the disciples to define their faith in him on a personal level rather than rely on what others had to say about him. Jesus challenged them to base their definition of who he was on the reality of what they had seen, heard, and experienced about him.  Today, many stand in public platforms and attempt to define Jesus as a good man, a teach...

THINKING GOD’S WAY

JULY 9TH – CAPSULE 9  TOPIC: THINKING GOD’S WAY  BIBLE TEXT: EPHESIANS 4VS23 – Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. How you process information and arrive at conclusions must always be subject to the will of God. Listen, “……….be made new in the attitude of your minds”. When you first start thinking Gods way, it will feel strange to you. It may even feel like a “put-on”. But it’s not. It works like this: you have to  (a). Practice being nice until you automatically become nice.  (b). Practice going to church on Sunday, until going anywhere else seems strange to you.  (c). Practice giving to God until it be comes as natural to you as shopping at the mall.  (d). Practice speaking the truth until even the smallest lie tastes bad in your mouth.  (e). Practice speaking kindness until every cynical, negative word is purged from your vocabulary. Its all a matter of practice! But you ask, “ isn’t that hypocritical – feeling one way and speaking an...
