LIVING SCRIPTURE
Matthew 15:8 KJV
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.




Our Heavenly Father wants us his children to draw closer to Him. But what is the right way of approach to the LORD? When look at the anchor scripture, it reveals that the people draw nearer to God with their mouths and lips alone, which means they engaged their minds alone but separated their hearts desire and depths from the LORD. The same thing happens in our present society, we see so many believers that are men pleasers, so full of praises from their lips and mouths alone just to gain something in the end. 

God the Father this morning wants us to draw closer to Him with our hearts, our mouths and lips. We believe His word with our hearts and minds and confess Him gloriously with our lips and mouths. That is the right way to draw close to Him. Nathaniel the disciple of Christ Jesus is a practical example:
John 1:47-51 KJV
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 
[48] Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 
[49] Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 
[50] Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 
[51] And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

To get closer to the LORD we need to love Him from our hearts and our minds and with all our strength. He that draws close to the LORD finds peace and rest and receives answers to prayers but he that fails to approach the Father in the appropriate manner will never receive the presence of God nor an answer to their prayers.

Give God the Father this morning your hearts, minds and confess Him daily without deceiving yourself.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father I need you in my life and I ready my heart to worship and honor You.

As for me and my household, it is a lifting up,
This is my year of I am a living wonder,
And my month of I am helped, Lifted & Made Strong,
I am an expression of God's grace, 
A wealthy Taborite, A celebrity in the class of kingdom celebrities,
The Father's Desire is my desire,
As for me, soul winning is my priority,
It does not matter, what is the matter,
I shall matter where it matters most.

You can only talk convincingly about the God you know, the one you’ve spent time with. Any other God belongs in a theology book, and you will have a hard time selling Him. AUGUST 18th - CAPSULE 18 TOPIC: ARE YOU ANXIOUS TODAY? BIBLE TEXT: Psalm 56 vs. 3 – What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. Anxiety can be likened to a big wave that washes over you and stops you dead in your works. It can paralyze you and take away everything good in your life. If you let it control you, you’ll do nothing, say nothing and end up feeling like nothing. When you think about it, worry in silly! (And dangerous) – It means you are not trusting God to carry out the promises He has made to you.
