Who is Jesus Christ to You?

LIVING SCRIPTURE

Mark 8:27-29 KJV

And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

[28] And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

[29] And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

This is a timely question to everyone this morning, what is your description, understanding and comprehension of Christ Jesus? The right answer shows how far we've gone with Him in love. From the anchor scripture we see that people only saw His acts, manifestations and miracles so they saw Him as several people because their understanding has not developed and grown into the love of Christ. They crowd speculated on whom Christ is, and this shows how so many church goers see Jesus as just a prophet or someone who is able to perform wonders. If we possess such mindset the devil will easily deceive and entice us with false prophets and men able to perform wonders.

But the disciples of Christ saw Him differently, they knew Him as the Son of God, Christ Jesus the one sent to save the world and redeem us to the Father. How glorious it is when we discover the LORD intimately, separate from the way men see Christ. Our discoveries of Jesus Christ will always set us apart and guide us daily into His presence and loving arms.

Get to know Jesus Christ today by studying the Bible and engaging the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ I want to know you more this morning please help my understanding and hunger.

DECLARATION OF FAITH:

When men are saying it is a casting down,

As for me and my household, it is a lifting up,

This is my year of I am a living wonder,

And my month of I am helped, Lifted & Made Strong,

I am an expression of God's grace,

A wealthy Taborite, A celebrity in the class of kingdom celebrities,

The Father's Desire is my desire,

As for me, soul winning is my priority,

It does not matter, what is the matter,

I shall matter where it matters most.
