LIVING SCRIPTURE
Psalm 18:20-21 KJV
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. [21] For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

The Psalmist lived a life built around the divine presence of God. He sought the LORD graciously and was indeed blessed and honored by the Lord according to his obedience and diligence service before the LORD. To be strong and courageous we need to be keepers of God's Word and doers of the same. Many are just following the train of church services and not fully maximizing the presence of God.

David was faced with different situations with king Saul but he kept himself from sinning against the anointed of God. He stored and treasured the word of God in his heart that will keep him away from the law of sin. We ought to store God's word in our hearts and meditate on them day and night. And the LORD rewarded his heart more than his ways and actions.

Another great testimony and doer of God's word is our LORD Jesus Christ. He lived by the words of life in the Father and He prospered by it here on earth with a glorious ministry built and established on the Word of God he treasured and kept. He taught more because that's the best process of learning and storing. Let us also be open to studying and learning God's word in services, fellowships, bible studies and devotions.

Capsule One - (WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY?)

May 1st – Capsule 1 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY? BIBLE TEXT: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which easily beset us … Hebrews 12 vs. 1 You will start getting well when getting well is what matters most to you. Let your desperation drive you beyond concern about the opinions of others. As long as you are more conscious of people than you are of God, you will never get what you need. When Hannah, Samuel’s mother, prayed in the temple, there was so much locked inside her that when she began to pray and pour her heart out, Eli thought she was drunk (see 1 Samuel 1 vs. 13). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus. They had carefully laid plans, and cry like blind Bartimaeus, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10 vs. 47). When you are blind, all that matters is receiving your sight. When it looks like there’s no way out fo...

DO TI NOW

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! Redeem the new moments of your life. Because the time and age ...
