DATE 28th April, 2023 TOPIC Jesus Prayed for You LIVING SCRIPTURE John 17:24 KJV Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Our redeemer moments before He suffered physically the crucifixion and death and resurrection, He prayed a unique prayer for all who believes in Him. The word of God this morning brings to our understanding this truth which says, Jesus Christ the Son of God wants you to be where He is currently, in victory, in healing, in dominion, triumphing daily, in the presence of the Almighty Father, at the right hand of God where only the Lamb of God sits. What a glorious sight to behold on that final day, when the saints shall gather beside the Lamb of God in Heaven singing Hosanna in the Highest. There is one thing that limits mankind from their testimonies and from the glory of God and that factor is sin. Whatever kind of sin it maybe separates us from our LORD, because He does not behold iniquity nor listen to one who willing lives a sinful life. Several men in the bible who got separated from the presence of God became vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy and some were killed or journey in life cut short. Many are called to be saved, to receive salvation but not many know who actually saves or the significance of what He did to bring us deliverance, redemption and reconciliation. It remains a mystery how many came closer to Jesus Christ in the days of His ministry, and how they were attracted to his works and not his heart. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elijah the Tishbite was a man of extraordinary ways and lifestyle. He lived Most of his life in isolation but whenever he stepped out into the city, Kings and nations tremble. He spoke as the oracle of God for the nation of Israel at the time of King Ahab and Jezebel's reign. It was a time of deep spiritual manipulation, darkness, greed, corruption from the palace, persecution on the prophets of God and gross injustice. A curse can serve as a spiritual bondage wrapped around a man's life to limit and stagnate such individual spiritually and physically. Balaam was called by Barak for one purpose alone to curse the children of Israel, likewise today several wicked family members or colleagues have gone in search of powers in order to bound us or oppress us. DATE 21st April, 2023 TOPIC Cast your Cares LIVING SCRIPTURE 1 Peter 5:7 KJV Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. In this world there are many things that are very disturbing, and may lead to an unstable mind. The cares and responsibilities in this world is unending therefore making the vast majority of the earth to be on a worry circle. When our Lord Jesus Christ was on earth, He lived a worry free life, not a single could weigh Him down because He totally depended on the Father. Jesus never lacked neither was there any time His ministry and home suffered. This is the example we are to follow and we shall experience the good hand of God. We are instructed this morning to boldly cast all our cares on Jesus Christ. Notice the exact words used; "casting all your cares" we are to constantly and repeatedly instructed to put the bill on Jesus Christ as children of God.
