DATE 30th May, 2023 TOPIC Obedience LIVING SCRIPTURE Genesis 26:5 KJV Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. Obedience is a way to serve the LORD with none of our will and all of His will. Many before us have lived and served the LORD and few of them actually followed through obediently. Noah heard the voice of the LORD to build an Ark for the deliverance of mankind in his time which he did successfully. And his family and animals that also obeyed where saved. If Noah had delayed or rebelled against the LORD it would have been disastrous for them. We see Abraham who's walk with God was from scratch, no formal training or mentorship from any man but a heart of obedience unto the LORD to set a foundation for us to follow. The message and the mandate that is universal for every child of God is to carry Jesus Christ in our hearts everywhere we go and where we live and work. The LORD speaks boldly in the anchor scripture that we should have this in mind and registered in our hearts when we stay in His glorious covering and do His will.
