DATE 27th February, 2023 TOPIC Follow His Spirit LIVING SCRIPTURE John 3:8 KJV The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. As a child of God we must understand the move of God and to walk in this light we need to follow His Spirit. The role of the Holy Spirit in our lives is very significant and valuable. The true sons (children of like heirs with Christ Jesus) are always led by the Spirit of Christ. There are many forces and spirits out there and we must choose whom to follow, either the Holy Spirit or several of the roaming spirits. We see how the church was led by the Holy Spirit into massive revival in Jerusalem on the day of pentecost after receiving the baptism of fire. DATE 25th February, 2023 TOPIC Give Thanks LIVING SCRIPTURE 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD as an expression of gratitude for the visible and invisible works. Thanksgiving is one of the actions that man cannot over render unto God, if possible our daily statements should be surrounded with thanksgiving. When we show our love and appreciation unto the LORD, we truly reveal the state of our hearts, which is where God does His business with. A man that cannot appreciate the LORD cannot truly appreciate men though he appear grateful but the statements of the heart says otherwise. When is the right time to give thanks? One may ponder! When we are expectant alone? Or when we receive good tidings and gifts? DATE 24th February, 2023 TOPIC Forgive (The Way of Peace) LIVING SCRIPTURE Mark 11:25-26 KJV And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.  [26] But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Forgiveness helps a believer in so many ways, when we forgive scripturally which is the only recommended way, we find peace first with God then with ourselves and our neighbors. When someone offends us, it's okay to be annoyed or feel angry or upset in the moment but it should not linger on in our hearts and minds. We need to forgive them whether they apologize or not. Knowing that forgiveness helps us more that have found a way of peace in Christ Jesus which cannot be found anywhere else. It's a wonderful sight to know that the Most High God, our Heavenly Father cares for His children and not just that, He makes it His priority. We are valuable and precious in the sight of God as His children and the LORD has never stopped expressing His heart to us. He is aware of everything and all the happenings here on earth, nothing escapes His eyes. The scripture reveals in 2 Chronicles 16:9 KJV For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him...
