PURE IN HEART

May 15th – Capsule 15

TOPIC: PURE IN HEART

BIBLE TEXT: Finally brethren, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things – Philippians 4 vs. 8.

The bible reveals an encounter of a man with a pure heart (righteous) in accordance to the will of God. This man was also a disciple of Christ, he was recognized as one with a pure heart. He was educated, sincere and honest in all his doing. Amongst the twelve apostles of Christ, Nathaniel or Bartholomew was much respected. The purity of his heart gave him honor amongst men – John 1 vs. 45 -51.

To be pure as a Christian, you must be honest and a man of integrity, living for Christ at all times in your place of work, business, school, marriage and all other endeavors. The Bible reveals this fact for all those who want to walk in purity – Matthew 5 vs. 6: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. This fact remains true, only a Christian with a pure Spirit (heart) than can relate with God spiritually and manifest physically.

Psalm 24 vs. 1 – 5; 15 vs. 1 – 5 reveals what a believer must do and live on to enjoy the presence of God. Judas Iscariot and Nathaniel were the most educated Disciples of Christ but as you can perceive, education is not purity, because Judas betrayed Christ because his heart was corrupted, while Nathaniel’s heart was pure. Live to please the Lord today by letting go of pains, hatred and all forms of hurt and defilements. Forgiveness assists a man into purity. A pure heart possesses the grace for integrity.

Christ testifies of him, "Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! - John 1 vs. 47." This informs us of the spiritual scanning system whenever we present ourselves before the LORD that gives perfect scans of every soul's purity service before Our Father in Heaven. You can live in purity too, when you give all to the service of the higher calling in Jesus Christ as a child of God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I repent from my ways and I ask that you cleanse my heart from all pollutions and impurities in Jesus name.

Insight: To be pure is to live righteously and stand with the truth in Christ Jesus.

Capsule One - (WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY?)

May 1st – Capsule 1 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY? BIBLE TEXT: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which easily beset us … Hebrews 12 vs. 1 You will start getting well when getting well is what matters most to you. Let your desperation drive you beyond concern about the opinions of others. As long as you are more conscious of people than you are of God, you will never get what you need. When Hannah, Samuel’s mother, prayed in the temple, there was so much locked inside her that when she began to pray and pour her heart out, Eli thought she was drunk (see 1 Samuel 1 vs. 13). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus. They had carefully laid plans, and cry like blind Bartimaeus, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10 vs. 47). When you are blind, all that matters is receiving your sight. When it looks like there’s no way out fo...

Sinner to Saint

Date 📅 20th October, 2022 Topic Sinner to Saint Living Scripture Romans 3:23 KJV For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; The journey of our convertion and transfiguration started when we decided to let go of our self and old ways and tune into the will of God by accepting Christ as Lord and Savior. Our Lord Jesus Christ is in the business of turning sinners to saints. Because of the fall of man from the beginning it was written that all mankind have sinned and come short of the supply of God's mighty glory. Which is why Christ Jesus died that we might be heirs and like heirs with Him in the kingdom of God. Without Jesus no one can be saved, all men without the knowledge and salvation of Christ are sinners. No man was born a saint, we are washed from stains, sins and disobedience into saints (children of God). The Bible is not full of men born as saints but rather men and women washed by the Blood of the Lamb of God and by the Word of God. Father Abrah...

DO TI NOW

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! Redeem the new moments of your life. Because the time and age ...
