WHO IS BEFORE YOU?

May 28th – Capsule 28

TOPIC: WHO IS BEFORE YOU?

BIBLE TEXT: I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved – Psalm 16 vs 8

We get seemingly carried away in worship when we reverence God with this popular song: ‘I’ll put you in front, in front of my melody, You are all that matters'.
The song went further to say: ‘I’ll make room for two, You and I Jesus, You are all that matters.
The Psalmist says: I have set the Lord always before me; I have given the Lord a permanent position always before me, and then he added, because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved; because He is beside me; to hold me, to carry me, to comfort me, to talk to me, to counsel me.

Who is before you? The Psalmist made a solemn decision to put the Lord before him; and afterwards, the Lord settled at his right hand.
Starting a new day this morning, what have you placed before your day? It is good to plan ahead. We plan so much and forget to involve Jesus in our plans. We wake up in the morning, straight to the bathroom; to the kitchen; doing chores. That’s why when the day looks rough and bumpy, there’s no Word in you to redeem the day and the storm overwhelm us and sweeps us away.

Your job is before you, your spouse is before you, investment, office schedule, money, business, clients and customers, relatives have all clouded our minds, but no place for God. Can your money give you joy? Will your relative be there always to encourage you? There are things that pertain to life and destiny that can only be yours when The Custodian is before you. Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established – Proverbs 16 vs 3.

Prayer: Go on your knees and commit your day into the Master's hands, thank Him for yesterday and also thank Him because He is in charge of your tomorrow.

Insight: Do not forget to repeat this process tomorrow morning.

Capsule One - (WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY?)

May 1st – Capsule 1 TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU WANT SO BADLY? BIBLE TEXT: Let us lay aside every weight and sin which easily beset us … Hebrews 12 vs. 1 You will start getting well when getting well is what matters most to you. Let your desperation drive you beyond concern about the opinions of others. As long as you are more conscious of people than you are of God, you will never get what you need. When Hannah, Samuel’s mother, prayed in the temple, there was so much locked inside her that when she began to pray and pour her heart out, Eli thought she was drunk (see 1 Samuel 1 vs. 13). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus. They had carefully laid plans, and cry like blind Bartimaeus, “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10 vs. 47). When you are blind, all that matters is receiving your sight. When it looks like there’s no way out fo...

FELLOWSHIP

Date 📅 24th November, 2022 Topic Fellowship (koinonia) Living Scripture Matthew 18:20 KJV For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Wherever believers are gathered in the name of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, there the Lord comes to fellowship. In heaven the celestials cease not to give due worship to God and the LAMB of God, it's a constant tradition of divine communion and fellowship. It is not every gathering that men calls Jesus Christ that he attends, the scripture states that these candidates for fellowship must be in the name of Jesus Christ. They must be saved to even think of gathering for the purpose of intimacy and fellowship. Two thieves were hung up on the cross with the person of Christ, but only one that repented and believed in the Kingdom of Heaven and Christ, that received attention from Jesus. To gather in fellowship with the Lord as a family this morning, we must all be in Him. Our devotion will not be c...

No Weakness In Heaven

Date 📅 14th October, 2022 Topic No Weakness In Heaven Living Scripture Matthew 5:48 KJV Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Heaven is a place to dream about, a place where our Heavenly Father dwells. It is not the skies we see or the galaxy of wide space we watch on the satellite and internet. The Bible records that Heaven is God's throne, a place where there are innumerable hosts of angels serving the LORD. There's no weakness in God's presence, for His glory and power radiates through the whole existence. Every biblical angel as described are very powerful and well coordinated. So is everyone born of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ came from Heaven and taught us what Heaven is like. And all the illustrations given in the four gospel of Christ were full of maturity and perfection. God wants us to be like Him that's why we are made in His image and glory though resident here on earth but of the commonwealth of Heaven. Wit...
