TOPIC: NO RESERVE, NO RETREAT, NO REGRETS

BIBLE TEXT: MATTHEW 25 VS 21 – Well done thou good and faithful servant.

Bill Bordeu of the famous Borden Milk Family in America, turned his back on fame and fortune and went to China as a missionary. His friends in America thought he had taken leave of his senses by walking away from a life of comfort and riches. He had been missing for days when they found his body in a tent. Under his thumb, was a note found that read, “No reserve! No retreat! No regrets!”

Think of it child of God, “No reserve” meaning holding nothing back. “No retreat” meaning never looking back or turning back from what God called you to do. “NO regrets” that is “a workman that needeth not to be ashamed” [2 Timothy 2vs15].

Today, the spotlight is on commitment. When you look at yourself, what you see may not be a very nice picture, but be honest with yourself…..painfully honest. Ask God to help you rebuild your altar, and then place your life on it.

Prayer: Lord Jesus the Master builder, please rebuild my altar in Jesus name.

The road to eternity is a narrow path, with a single choice. There are no alternatives into eternity. It is either you walk through the narrow way into heaven or you follow the broad path that leads men (souls) to hell fire. God sent His only Son to die for mankind, creating the way, the truth and the life, to all who believe in Christ Jesus. It is either you make a choice to follow Jesus or you walk straight into hell. AUGUST 9th - CAPSULE 9 TOPIC: IT RUBS OFF BIBLE TEXT: Exodus 34 vs. 29 – His face glowed from being in the presence of God. You can only talk convincingly about the God you know, the one you’ve spent time with. Any other God belongs in a theology book, and you will have a hard time selling Him. When Moses came down from the mountain, his face shone. He had been in God’s presence, and when you’ve been there it shows in the way you look, the way you walk and talk, the way you treat your family, the way you spend your money and the way you respond to hurting people. It rubs off! Paul Cain says “most of us are as close to God as we want to be”. Think about it “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you” (James 4 vs. 8). How could you possibly be the same when you’ve been with Him? He transforms everything He touches.
