Bible Text - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39




Your parents love you. You may be able to do something that makes them angry, but you will never be able to do anything that makes them stop loving you. Try to imagine this kind of love and then multiply it by infinity. That’s the love that Jesus has for you. That’s the love that God has for you.

God made you. He loved you enough to create you. He loved you enough to give you free will. Then he loved you enough to give you his Son. He loved you enough to forgive you for turning away from him. This is an impossible love! This is a love that we may never understand. But we don’t have to understand it. We just have to accept it. We just have to fall into the welcoming arms of our God, our heavenly Father.

Nothing on this earth—nothing spiritual, no power, no evil, no anger—can ever separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus. He’s ours forever and ever. And we are his. 



PRAYER
Dear God, we cannot possibly thank you enough for your love. Please help us to accept it, so that we don’t have to live in fear. Wrap us in your loving arms. Amen.

INSIGHT
His love covers the deepest depths.

You can only talk convincingly about the God you know, the one you’ve spent time with. Any other God belongs in a theology book, and you will have a hard time selling Him. When Moses came down from the mountain, his face shone. He had been in God’s presence, and when you’ve been there it shows in the way you look, the way you walk and talk, the way you treat your family, the way you spend your money and the way you respond to hurting people. How would they explain the waves that crash against the rocks or the shifting of the sand as the tide tugs at the shoreline?
