Acts 1:1 KJV
The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,



The Son of God, Jesus Christ lived amongst men, participated in several of the Jewish traditions and was loved by many. But something about Him makes His life a lesson till date. He is not just a Master, a Lord or King or a Father alone, but a great teacher. He taught more than He performed miracles and several of His great exploits were through His teachings. Jesus showed us the way by carefully teaching us the patterns of our inheritance in God, although He taught in parables yet the lessons were life to all.

His life here on earth was a mystery to many and His ways were quite interesting and new. He forgave not just with words alone but with actions. He loved this world so much (John 3:16) that He taught us the way into reconciliation with our Heavenly Father, through salvation and redemption by grace. He used every opening to release a lesson for the church to follow, the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-48) He went further to reveal the structures of the Sons of God. 

As children of God, the word of God was given to the church and to everyone that believes in Christ for our daily living and upkeep (Matthew 11:29). We need a word from Jesus Christ everyday, a teaching, a moral, a guide into a world filled with sin and death. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest teacher if only we will listen to His voice. The Holy Spirit will not speak of Himself but every direction and instruction we receive and will be receiving from Him comes from Jesus Christ. Trust in Jesus!

• Heavenly Father I submit my heart and mind to learn of Jesus Christ this morning.
• Lord Jesus Christ please teach me how to walk, work, talk and live a pleasant life before the Father
